Saturday Afternoon vs. Monday Night Football

Saturday 3pm is perfect for getting on the piss

Out of the two - Saturday arvo for sure.

Saturday Arvo 3.00pm or 5.00pm :Yes:

Sunday Arvo 2.00pm or 3.00pm :Yes:

It gets to cold for alot of people to bring their families to see the games at night, younger generation aren't coming because there's nothing to do after the game within the club.
(Nightclub/DJ etc).

Monday night is **** for me. I work Afternoon shift, so I don't get to see the game if its on Monday or Fridays, except for the replay.

Saturday is definitely my favourite by far, mainly because they televise the Toyota cup game before hand.

Saturday arvos are now a no gone zone for me and have been for a number of years.

With Sunday arvo, I can go to church in the morning, have lunch and then head down to the ground.

Sunday afternoon football is always good at Toyota Stadium.

Sunday Arvos best ever. But if Sat Arvo or Mon Night.

i would say Sat Arvo,

As its cold in winter 3pm is still warm and light enough to take the kids / family and then straight to the leagues club have a family friendly presentation in summertime bar.

Games finish around 5.30pm still enough time for the supportes if they have other plans
ie Dinner, Birthdays, Wedding etc.....

Or enjoy the entertaiment in the leagues club.

Saturday arvo - but I would have it instead of the 2nd 7.30 Sat night game.

I understand the reasons why MNF exists and we can't expect a massive TV deal without some peak hour Rugby League.

IMS, various people in this thread have mentioned Sunday as their preferred choice.

Sharkster, I am sure there are plenty of other people on this forum that go to church on Sundays like I do.
