Poor The Wanna-bes didn't disapoint last night. Aus, NZ, Eng. Don't see any of these teams winning the cup this year. Bring on the dark horse.
Is Gower still playing for Italy? I followed the Italian friendlys and the French Top 14 solely because of him.

Gower switched back to Rugby League

It will still be either NZ or us no one else has what it takes to win.

we really need ione back though, and pocock will help alot once over his injury. He toughens up the forward pack.

Problem is, that's just the kind of thinking that lead to the train wreck of yesterday.
wallabies were absolute *****e. No intensity and a total lack of brains. Lord knows, I can handle losing - hell I'm a sharks supporter :) - but I can't stand losing when it's quite clear that the other side wanted it more. Ireland were better than us in every facet of play. They wanted it more.
We will not win the World Cup.

Yeah I wiikid him not long after I posted that.. Found a funny couple of sentences about him.. Don't mean to sway to far from the topic but it was a quality read.
"Gower was fired as Panthers captain in December 2005,[9] after incidents at a charity golf event where he argued with several guests, groped the teenage daughter of former league player Wayne Pearce, chased Pearce's son with a bottle before vomiting on him, streaked nude around the resort, stole and crashed a golf cart, held a butter knife [10] to the throat of a Sydney radio personality before throwing it at resort guests, and engaged in a brawl with resort security before being ejected from the official function and detained by police"

Very nice!

I love watching the minnows put some points on, they get so pumped up and it's great to watch.

The wallabies are in abit of trouble now. We have heaps of injuries and unless italy beat the irish we will be playing a near full strength springboks. Digby Ioane is coming back which will be a massive boost to our chances. I would love to see him in league.

that's right snow and the winner of that game goes onto play the allblacks!

That one loss against Ireland really screwed us over. We could of crusied through the quarters and then played England in the semi's, but that loss set us back a lot!

Kiwi's will find it tough now though with Dan Carter out for the WC. Piri Weepu or Colin Slade will have to step up big time.

England should go straight through to the Final fairly easily. There a class above Ireland/Wales/France. The french are a basketcase atm and your speed in the backline should be too much for them. Also the English scrum will monster the weak French pack.

Francios Steyn the fullback/centre for the Sprinboks is out for the Tournament! Great news for Australia, one of their real weapons.

has habana been playing this tournament?

Yeah he pulled up sore with a corked thigh in the last game, but it looks he will be alright for the Aussie game. He is a bit of a has-been anyhow. He's still fairly quick but doesnt posses blinding pace like he used to.

Bit of a one trick pony too, tries to outrun any and everyone to the outside.
