we made a play at 2 kiwis in 2011 and 2012 and were priced out

it may be a super **** sport but they have a lot of coin to throw around
Why wouldn't they just sign for unders?

I wish League had the money Union does.

Haha it's cool guys, you don't like rugby

I wouldn't say I like or dislike it. League is king in this battle for me personally but I'm happy to watch Union when it isn't purely about kicking. I've seen games of Union that I've genuinely enjoyed and then there have been others where I'd rather watch a blank screen.

Opportunity missed. Should have got a Super Rugby game on FTA every Saturday night. They'll never grow the game.

The Australian Rugby Union has secured a new broadcast rights deal worth more than $275 million in a deal that will see all Super Rugby matches live on Fox Sports and a Sunday morning replay on Ten Network.

Yeah its a joke. Broadcast rights should easily surpass half a bill, and all Australian confrence be FTA.

I watched a bit of it over the weekend, me being a leaguie cant believe the attacking side don't have their far side winger just hovering the side line waiting & they use the cross field kick, no team does it so I am obviously wrong but to me that's a tactic they could or should use.

Wouldn't matter mate, the wingers would probably have a heart attack if they found themselves in a position to score a try.

Watching the news last night they had a story on the Super Rugby competition about to start. Apparently some of the South African teams don't play any Kiwi sides at all throughout the entire competition. What do serious Rugby fans think about that? Seems a bit farcical.

Something had to give with Japan and Argentina road trips thrown into the mix. It's not perfect and hopefully they'll fine tune it.

Pumped for Brumbies vs Tahs

I don't know, it's a bit like having a couple of NRL teams that don't have to play the top 4. Are they trying to expand the comp too much?

Yeah I think so, a just NZ and Aus comp would be fine for me.

But you know, the moneys.
