How that didn’t go up for a second look is beyond me. Didn’t realise that first initial grounding was so close, but when they started to get off him it was clear it was on the line. Surprised that everyone was just happy to keep playing... no fist pumps, no one running in, just play on?

If you watch the Annesley video Royces can't see he got it down and obviously nobody else did either
Live I saw a try but on a replay you can see he can't see it himself so he just tried to do the right thing and play it fast

he's happy to just be there contributing, good kid

Exactly right. My only concern is who’s going to lay the platform for him? We have woods who seems to be the big dog atm, but we really need Uele to really take Fifitas spot and make it his own. It’s a big ask for someone so early into their career, but he’s the guy to do it. Uele actually starting is a good step in that direction though

And we scored a try just after that from memory, didn’t we? Got the result in the end, but he deserves to get the praise for his efforts. Seems to have a solid team first mentality if we’re going off that one play

BHU is the man to fill that void, he's a keeper and he's been stepping up for a while now. I think fox commentators said something about him and BHU coming into his own.
from memory BHU punch a hole thru warriors in our home game last year running a strong line and sprinting for the line

I'm just enjoying to see Royce Hunt make some beginnings here at the sharks.

Hunt gets a bit overshadowed by the other beasts in our pack but he is holding his own and been great value - his carries are really strong and consistent and defensively he seems to be going reasonably well

his non try reminded of way back around 2012/2013 or whatever it was Gal seemed to have the ball on the try line and he argued his case but was forced by the ref to get up and play the ball and that was in a tight game. think was against dragons or storm but I think we went on to win the game

Hunt's was clearer and more obvious than Gals though but both kinda got ripped off. katoa owes hunt some sexy time

Teach him a more dramatic dive so it’s obvious when he scores
Imagine that big Hunt soaring through the air

It was bizarre. Don't recall seeing anything like it. He made a lunge and shoulda claimed it. I feel the dummy half should've been aware and drawing attention to it as well.

It certainly clearly looked to be on the line.

But maybe it wasn’t? Maybe it was just an optical illusion? Maybe we can’t trust the video!?
