Sami Sailuma & outside back on the bench? Doesnt make sense having a wing or centre on the bench, who's he going to rotate with?

Sami is probably there to cover Gordon's dodgy shoulder , and he is big enough to punch out some hit ups in the middle if required for a short spell.

Our bench is a mess

Dead right, Sami's inclusion shows how desperate the forward stocks are.
Hopefully taga gets more minutes otherwise he's a complete waste and should be swapped for Houma if he's only going to play 15.

Big test is going to be how Barba goes at FB, hopefully he has a blinder and finds some form.

Also guess talks of a new forward must have fallen through.

This is one game where the backs will really have to step up. Apart from the seasonal lack of Gallen, I wasn't expecting the ranch to be so empty of cattle... Feki will also be missed, he is a tough hombre and isn't afraid of acting as an extra forward early in the tackle count. Can't see that being Holmes' or Barba's go...

Fifita... We need a 200 metre game out of you, buddy boy...

Didn't Stapo score 4 tries in this game last year? Val will score 8.
Then got his ass dropped

His ass was dumped after one more game. If Flanno logic is to remain true, Val scoring 8 tries should buy him 2 games to prove he should remain in the top grade...

Really hope we put in this week. Game against Penrith was just embarrassing
Embarrassing? No not really. At least we tried to win by playing some football.
Refresh your memory with our first few rounds if you want embarrassment.

We need an error and penalty free game from him more.

I can see Holmes making an occasional useful hit up with his footwork. Barba is obviously just too small for that.

Our return to the winners' circle, barring last round has coincided with great handling and completing our sets. While ever we do that we should be every game. The warriors worry me though, Manu is going to take some containing not to mention the halfback.

Manu could stomp over Val for a couple, but Val could zip in behind Manu for some too if someone brings their kicking boots and can force some grubbers in behind the beast.

I like this - From the other forum :)

0-17.5 minutes will be Barba FB, Gordon left wing, Holmes right wing.
17.5 - 35 minutes Gordon to right wing, Holmes to FB, Barba to left wing.
35 - 52.5 minutes Gordon to FB, Holmes to left wing, Barba to right wing.
52.5 - 70 minutes will be Barba FB, Gordon left wing, Holmes right wing.

70-80 minutes. Flanno realises the game is for 80 minutes but has already ******ed up the interchange so it will be Gordon, Barba and Holmes all hooked with Saulima to play back 3 by himself

This plan was leaked to me earlier in the week

Yep, that's my fear. The occasional hit up is a little less than we need. And that's not Holmes' fault. I don't want to see him in amongst those warriors forwards any more than necessary.

Let's how we outscore them... If you've got a lazy pineapple, put it on the total score being 50+

Happy to see Barba at 1.

I hope he spends a bit of time there to help him with his mojo.

yes ! last roll over the dice for benny ... if he cant get his spark back playing fullback he is no goo to anyone... unless he takes a $300k per season pay cut.

i wanna see him fire again... i hope he sets the game on fire at fullback .. :hoping

I expect a high scoring game between these 2 teams as per usual, particularly on the dry track

I'm tipping Sharks 26-22

Kiwi players will be on a high after their win over the Aussie's so I expect them to come out firing but they don't typically perform well at Rymondis so we should have no excuse not to get the cookies
Will need Ennis at his best rushing out from marker to limit Johnsons time and generally harassing and getting under his skin

Regardless Im just glad the real footy is back this weekend, can't wait to get myself on the hill with a beer or 2
