Actually I think a Thursday night game would be better than a Friday night game in terms of traffic but I agree with your point that TV is directing the game, not the clubs and it's fans

I just meant for me personally as I would have to finish work at about 2.00 which isn't practical for me. It works for tv though as more people are home watching tv than a weekend.

Just out of interest - seeing as the topic has moved to traffic etc. - what's the traffic like for a Monday night game? I'm planning to go to the rabbits game on the 27th, so wouldn't mind a heads up. Or am I better on the train? Been years since I've been to the ground on a matchday(night)

I'm sure you don't think Taree is perfect but you don't just pack up your life (literally) and move elsewhere

Every city or town has it's negatives it doesn't mean we can't air our concerns or frustrations

Nah not at all.
Im just saying it goes with the territory. You build more motor ways etc, you'll probably increase the population anyway.
Its the capital city of our state, its gunna be busy no matter which way we go around it

Pretty bad when a player gets knocked out, has his forehead split, and they can say there wasnt contact........

I honestly thought that was worthy of being sent off.

A disgraceful tackle and if he doesn't get suspended, the NRL judiciary should be sacked immediately.

Nothing wrong with that tackle, worthy of a penalty for accidental contact to the head thats all.

I took my 6 year old to his first ever game of footy on Friday and he cried when Beau's bloodied head appered on the big screen.

I comforted him and assured him Beau was ok.

I then explained that as a Sharks fan, it is ok to cry now and then !
