I have only seen a few NSW cup games (TV), though it always sounds like and looks like Leutele is ripping that up. Is he heads and shoulders above the rest snowy?

he has been for 2 season now.

the manly centre looked just as good, less footwork more creativity witht the ball in hand

I haven't been around for that long to see too many players but atm leutele is the best player to play sooooo little FG. He is 23 but most backs get their shot and keep it at 21.

Hopefully he can cement a spot soon as imo he has everything to be a good first grader and if we don't sign a centre next year he has to start in bests place, even over matty wright.

tbh Leutele is up there with my favourite players so my posts can be seen to be biased.

Some players bust their way into first grade .. Others need a lucky break to get in.....leutele isn't a barn stormer .... But just needs a proper crack at someone else's expense unfortunately ..

How did they defend?

Also, how was Pickerd? Particularly physically- was he up to it?

Defence was good, but they conceded some soft tries, if that makes sense.

Pickerd was strong in attack, made good meters on his runs and good scoots, but his opposite centre gave him a lesson.

Re: Defence- sure, know what you mean. They tend to bleed tries from less than 10 out just through guys straightening or a big prop getting some steam up. I was more thinking of how the two halves went in defence (or all of the smaller NYC guys).

More time for Pickerd then. Did Feki play?

yeh, one try was scored by the manly hooker from dummy half which was soft as. other on the 5th tackle like manly spread the ball, then kicked it infield and it hit the post and manly scored.

walsh put on a couple of good shots, looked at home in defence.

penani was solid.

yeh, pickerd needs to play centre in nyc, you could tell he looked lost. feki didnt play.

our back 5 was

callum
moroko
ricky
pickerd
lambert

anyone know anything about josh lambert? he looked the goods on the wing.
