Who pished in Priors cornflakes this morning. Dude seemed cranky. Loved it.

Also, Sorensen was awesome. So glad his trial form translated into first grade. Wish Graham would run with that much intent.

Sorensen showed great footwork and acceleration for his try. His ability to change direction and remain at a high speed is impressive.

Nice. Fifita really led by example in that case. He is already starting to fill Gal's shoes.

Awesome win by our boys.
Very impressed with the defensive effort.
Our attack was also looking pretty good too.
The backline is the best we can put on the field. Ramien will be a big loss next year.
Dugan has the fullback position sown up and Moylan will get better at 5/8th with more games under his belt.
Fafita had an awesome game and I was impressed with Sorensen. All the forwards really stood up.
It should be an interesting game next week, the Titans always turn up when they play us but after yesterday's win, I'm feeling pretty confident.

Thought our game plan was A+.

Clearly we identified that we wanted to shift left early and often to try and maximize the Ricky/CHN mismatch and that worked to good effect despite Ricky bombing a couple chances.

Also we knew better than anyone Maloney likes time and space with ball in hand so we bullrushed him every chance we could. It shut down a lot of the slick ball movement penrith can hurt sides with.

I know coaches always say "we just focus on us" but there's always exceptions and little things you can identify to create an advantage. Flanno noticed those and the players played to the plan accordingly.

Good stuff all round.

Yep CHN in the centres wasnt ideal for them and we took advantage of it. Shame ricky sorta let those 2 plays down, 1 with the crappy offload (forward 10 metres). Thats 1 thing our side needs to work on is to not get too excited. We've just made 40 metres off a run, dont make that pass thats not on, it undoes everything. Early in the count, take the tackle you will probably back it up with a fresh set of 6 when they get penalised for not getting back onside (or better yet a sin bin)

3 times I counted we rushed passes, when you're in form those passes just stick but we're not so you can't push your luck all the time.

Lewis was captain.

At half time Fifita was talking to the refs, and then after the game he did the presser.

Im guessing this would be his first time?
Think he captained the nines, If that counts?
