How did Holdsworth show Robson up in the Cowboys game?

Other than kicking the field goal Holdsworth did sweet phark all.

I'll agree with you in that Holdsworth player better than Robson today, but mainly because Robson had a shocker.
Robson has been terrible every game bar about 2 this year.

Haha, now you're just nitpicking.

All players stick their legs out when players put grubbers through.

Robsons also gathered the ball several times this year by blocking the ball with his foot and diving on it.
You nit pick every other players mistakes however out of character they are but always overlook how putrid a player robson is every week.

JimBob you amaze me how you constantly defend Robson game after game. We will not make the finals next year if he is our number seven.

I don't nitpick, if I criticise a players it's usually due a to a major flaw in their game.

E.g. Sopoaga's goal line defence, Holmes handling etc.

Some constructive judgement about Robson:

Pros:
* He is a fine tackler especially one-on-one, tends to tackle above his weight class
* He is tough
* Has a nice occassional dummy when close to the line

Cons:
* Cannot pass more than 5 metres
* Cannot kick more than 5 metres
* Cannot run more than 5 metres
* Is comparable to Aids when in attacking field position
* His calming influence is out of practice

The sick dog has finally been put down. That's how I feel.

Thank Christ the season is over.

Whoa whoa whoa, what the ****!?

There was no clear evidence to show that the ball made contact with the ground, so why was the decision overturned?
There has been some amazing inconsistencies in this area this year. It was clearly a try, however we were denied a try under the exact same circumstances earlier in the year.

Missed the game, was at the Swans game instead. Just saw the highlights, I think HB's analogy was spot on, like putting down a dieing dog. I'm stoked that it's finally over. So many basic ****ing errors, won't be changing that much next year, there's too much wrong and not enough changes being made to fix them.

I think we have to look at the bright side where possible, in that we get an actual coach back which will have some effect, we will get a renowned hooker, and an upcoming bunch of outside backs that will be better for the run.

Teams like Canberra, Titans and Wests Tigers won't get any of that.

Are you serious?

We played their reserve grade side today. They are missing nuofolama, Richards, Tedesco and Simona in their backs?

Two reserve grade sides played today. And it was ugly football.

I know who they are missing. They still had the majority of their salary cap on the field.

Sorry, I just thought it was a really poor game to watch. It was wet with countless injuries to both sides.

A fitting end to the season.
