That Covell Try was just awesome. The way he got ran down but palmed off the defender was brilliant to watch. You just knew that he was going to make it not matter what. Everyone at the ground went mental. It will be one of my favorite Shark memories. I just felt so good for him.

i COULDNT STOP THINKING HAS HE GO THE LEGS HAS HE GOT THE LEGS THEN I SAW HIM THROUGH THE BIG PALM UP AND I WAS SO HAPPY FOR HIM AND HE CONVERTED ASWELL, IT WILL BE A GREAT MEMORY OF MINE AND IM SURE FOR HIM!

The funny thing was that Prince and Atkins really had him at the 20m line but they sort of didn't know how to approach tackling the awkward looking prick. It was hilarious come to think of it. He got a great palm on Prince but Atkins really had no excuse for not just diving and getting him around the legs in the first place. I think he dogged it to be honest.

I mean, Aitkins catching our star winger in only like, 50m- hell, he even laid hands on him eventually.

(Not trying to be narky, it was an attempt at humour)

No dramas.

To be honest the difference between someone like Atkins and someone like Fergo isn't as big as people are making out. I'd probably rather Atkins on 55k than Fergo on 180k or whatever he's on.

They both have done some freaky stuff but are lacking in other departments. Fergo could have had the same fate at a team like the Titans.

Yeah, I know - I can't take calls at work cause if the phone falls off my ear into some ****er's pasta I get yelled at by my Gordon Ramsay wannabe boss. I even have to ignore calls from girlfriends/my mum.

They knew it was Cov's party and they didn't want to spoil it. I reckon Birdy had a work in their ear and said if Cov gets close, let him score. They knew what what happen if they upset the Bird man.:take that

Great game to see. It is partly a shame considering what might have been when you think about the fact that our last 2 wins were against 2 of the better teams in the comp but I will be positive and just say I am proud of the boys and good to see Baz and Cov get the send off they deserved.

Great to see Cov get that try as that was a great moment.

Good to see our dud signings, harsh but fair imo, Cuthbo and Smith have much better games this week after solid performances last week as well. I hope they have turned the corner and will be better when they have even better players around them next year.

In summary I guess was a great and enjoyable win and it is a nice change to see retiring players go out in a positive way!

It's just nice to see when we really aim up we can achieve a great win against a great team. We were playing like a proper NRL quality team in both attack and defence and the only thing that changed was mental or perhaps preparation.

It sort of validated what I've been saying lately about us having the cattle. When I look at our team list for next year I see a small handful of possible liabilities / possible good players, and the rest I see a very solid team. Time to start believing in these guys and our club again IMO.

I'm not expecting us to win this week. It'll be a hard game, but I am expecting us to play the same way we did last week, win lose or draw. Turn up to play and at the very least don't make it easy for them.

I hope the club jumps on the possibility of releasing the game on DVD, as a memento of the occasion. Most people on here have posted that is one of the more memorable wins recently and would be great to be able to watch time & time again
