This team has something special. Even when they were down 10 zip at half time I felt good. I knew they had no ball in the first half but the way they defended was superb. When they have everyone back on deck and Flanno lets the brakes off just a bit more, this side could make a run towards the big game in October.

you are really ****ing with my head mate....I turn up after a win.........you only turn up when there is a scandal and proceed to rip the management apart....why would that be
I've been here for every game for the best part of two and half years (since I joined). I was motivated to join owing to the seriousness of the situation that has long since passed.

You on the other hand attack posters on your perceived level of support for the club. I'll criticise management any time I feel like it. You insinuate I'm a fair weather supporter but haven't noticed by presence for more than two years. You are a bore!

That won't be happening this year - when the top 4 are in form we are so far behind them it isn't funny.
Funny how those teams don't seem to be in form when we play them...

Finals games are less expansive, more risk averse and generally more of a grind. It really could suit us coming into September. The Cowboys and Manly games in the finals series 2013 we play them in, both tough close games we were highly competitive in with a lesser squad

Yeah, according to the press, so many teams have had an off-form day when they played us, guess we've been kind of lucky ;)

It baffles me - it really does.

Take our match against the Bulldogs last week...the Channel 9 commentators yesterday were saying what a dour, boring match it was and the ball handling from both sides was terrible - yet the Dogs showed none of that horrible handling against the Roosters and scored five consecutive tries (before losing the game at the end).

I can't work it out.

The whole dragging teams down to our level cliche... you know what, often we just outplay our opposition and are winning the key moments

Watched this game fully expecting to get beaten. No Fifita or Lewis I thought outweighed their loss of Johnson.
The first 30 minutes was so hard to watch not because it wasn't a good 30 minutes but because I spent most of that time wondering if we would ever see the ball again. How we defended our line so long with them scoring just the one try I'll never know.

The Mannering try really annoyed me as they had worked so hard to keep them out. None of us on here could ever know how tired the players were in the first half, it was a monumental effort.

2nd half belonged to a kid named Valentine Holmes. It's amazing to think this kid has scored so many tries this season and yet I don't think we've seen half of the things he's capable of doing. A hint of that is in that amazing 80 metre run against the Cows a few weeks back. He's a special lad.

The Taga no try also annoyed me because the obstruction rule is so bad at the moment but as it stands it's a definite no try.

The refereeing still continues to be poor. There were two blatant forward passes, one by each team that the touchies missed. Can't believe they miss them when you can see they are right there. The howler was the pass from Tompkins to Mannering in the last few minutes leading to the Warriors no try at the end. They aren't capable of making a call without going to the video, they constantly miss forward passes and they are grossly inconsistent with holding down the player in the tackle. Today I saw penalties given for players hardly holding someone down and none for some that seemed to be held down forever.

So happy with the win and really looking forward to next week's game. It will be great to be back at home.

Interesting comments in the Warriors presser from Mannering and McFadyen describing our tries as "soft."
Really? Don't think Val's two tries were soft at all.
