Could someone explain to me why Feki's try wasn't a try? It looked like he was miles inside when he kicked the ball.

The last step he took before he kicked the ball was with his right foot and his heel was just touching the line (barely conclusive, but just enough to over-turn the on-field ref's decision). So whilst his whole body was inside the line when he kicked it, neither of his feet had touched ground in the field of play before the kick, so it was a correct no-try call.

I think had we scored that try to go 24-4, we would have put that game to the sword. The Warriors could have easily dropped their bundle and we were playing well enough to score a few more tries.

But as it was, the Warriors were still in touch and having just a small sniff they could win was enough to keep them motivated and us nervous.

I will take this win despite the last ten minutes, we were easily the best side and bustled them into mistakes. We should get the credit for the Warriors being off their game.

Didn't watch the game as I was playing a game of over 35s soccer. ( I was pretty solid at the back). Great result and still can't believe POM scored again. Massive result today and can't wait till
Next week when we smash up the filthy knights

Ok. Thanks guys. But what about J Wright a couple weeks back against Brisbane? He didn't score but I'm pretty sure he went outside the field of play. I'm assuming if he scored, the same decision would have been given.

Was thinking the same thing

give your self a uppercut and take a long holiday.

what else do you want the only 2nd team to win in nz this season??????

Agree - getting 2 points in such a tough assignment was all that mattered today. We were given very little chance by most and I had my own doubts. Leave the nitpicking to another time we got the job done today.

The best explanation of the rule I have heard so far - therefore Jono Wright's try would have been allowed as his feet got back on the turf after exiting the field of play

Had a holiday mate. Just voicing my thoughts, dont have to agree with you all.

All I see is room for improvement. BUT AGAIN AS I SAID, congratulations to the boys and the club for the win.

Our left edge is becoming dangerous. They have cemented their spot for the year! I've said it before, we are gonna see some serious improvement down that side. We are scoring try's that we haven't scored in years! Graham, Wright & Feki... All decent first graders with their best football in front of them.
