Watching the game back: Almost all our backline movements broke down with Gordys pass, he got rid of it too early allowing the defence to adjust, he cant seem to read the game at all, should be val holmes chiming in on those backline movements, at least he has some ball playing ability. Alternatively have barba as the last player to touch the ball- Just an observation.
Noticed this once or twice, because he gave it too early the player he should have drawn before passing was able to cramp beale and ensure he had zero space.

Gallen would be more valuable to us as a 60minute prop who's not allowed to offload in our own half.

Ok so at the game I thought our big nnme forwards played well. Fafita made a few mistakes but ran straight and hard, good to see him breaking the line again. Gal was huge, but probably touched the ball too much.

Barba was woeful, every kick was a shocker. Wasn't linking well with our outside backs.

I would start considering this:

1. Barba
2. Gagan
3. Gordon
4. Feki
5. Holmes
6. Graham
7. Robson
Also get Bird on the bench.

Graham unfortunately has the best short kicking game in our team, and it would also get him out of centre during backline movements. Let our outside backs do what they are paid to do.

I agree slide... The right way to do it is to talk about his weird off field statements.
or refer to him as voldermort.

He bleeds for the club but at the same time he does kill us on most games, feels like he needs to carry us And quite frankly- he doesnt.

May happen , but apart from one or two kicks thought Robbo played well last night .

Yep, robbo wasn't the problem. Our back line looked wooden and going through the motions at half pace. meant that the broncs decent defence just picked us off at will...

To be fair, the broncs did defend well all night.

again I don't see why flanno isn't using Val in the back line movements by swapping him and flash, said he was going to do it in the pre season, didn't happen in the trial and didn't happen last night, **** tactics

stupid idea to drop both our centres when they have been looking the most dangerous out of anyone in our team, I really can't understand your logic behind doing that, does sound like something flanno would do, are you flanno?

and this proves that stat padding doesnt win games

he needs to halve his touches

Exactly right, he doesnt have a good win ratio at all. Still hasn't worked out what he really needs to do to help the team win.
Said it before he is a warrior but is not a smart player and with dopey as coach what hope do we have.
Gal and Flanno are our dumb and dumber

I agree that our back line movements need more speed. The current lineup should have that pace... Still, barbs and Val does feel more dynamic.

We're a work in progress and I'm cool with that. I'm going to go on record though and say when Gordon retires we might end up with Barba at fullback, swapping at times with Val on the wing. I just get the feeling he's more dangerous with less responsibility.

We're still too left sided in attack IMO, and getting lewis back onto the right side will help a lot.

Ladies its round 2. Relax.
noone wants to see who we should drop and who we should promote. Just watch the footy or dont, this forum is for personal opinion not to sit there and whine, I really did see positives in last night game; David Fifita was good and barba attacking the line, boogs looked the goods and Leutele stood up hodges. Its early days, I do believe they will get it together. Have an ounce of faith.

With Flanno in charge I have 0 faith. This is his fourth year as a head coach. He even got a whole year off to research with no distractions he could have been watching every game played over the last decade to come up with a some attacking structure. Bet he sat around moping and complaining about how it wasn't his fault.

He didn't work on his coaching - or if he did he may as well not bothered.

We last night put on the worst performance this year so far so we actually went backwards from last week. That is a ****ing talent. Normally you are rusty week 1 and week 2 is an improvement but to go backwards just wow.

Gordon should not be fullback. Ricky keeps taking the wrong option when he makes a break. Gallen keeps pushing the pass and taking the ball off our backs. Fifita is going backwards at a rate of knots. Ennis is not allowed to control the ruck.

Again we made more metres then the opposition but couldn't score. This has been us for the last 6 years first under Stuart now under Flanno. Its apparent that neither of those coaches can coach attack or come up with a game plan. We are tough but so are the Roosters,Dogs,Souths - the difference is they can score they build pressure then convert on it.

Anyone who thinks Flanno has what it takes to turn us around has rocks in their heads.

I dare say that we will be seeing Murphy play fg soon. Of course he needs to step up but I have a feeling we will see him play.

I don;t think we will . Robson is clearly rated by Flanno.

Does anyone know how he is going? Surely he would offer more than Robson.

Probably the saddest thing about our team at the moment is that Robbo is probably being picked for his defence rather than anything else.

If anything the **** wit in the coaches box would drop barba for confidence and move graham to 6 before he drops robbo. Only thing we can do is pray for injuries , one for the coach and others for our 1 and 7. No need to pray for gal he.has already played 20% of his shark games this year
