^ My quote was for a different incident, when Wright was catching the ball near our own in goal (we were defending). Looked like he got tackled in the air, but the camera angle was from the top of the stand, so it was hard to see what happened exactly.

being the guru you are jimbob, you should no that you can tackle the attacking player in the air.
I thought they changed that rule this year and you couldn't at all. Not sure where I heard that or if it's correct but I'm sure I heard commentators saying that rule had changed.

just thought id put my two cents in on the whole gordon debate. yeah he had few errors last night but geez the guys busts his arse. when no one wants to take a run hes always there or there abouts. i thought he could of passed a few more times but watching the replay his outside men were in no better position. he looked like he was heavily targeted due to the fact we had no carney. and they were swarming him hard. the few times the half did their job properly he puts feki away cleanly down the touchline and wright over in the corner. its hard for the outside men to do much when the whole team lacked cohesion and direction. once him and the time find their groove all these people will be eating humble pie. the guy was our player of the year last year and his team mates player of the year. so we either dont see what everyone else sees or we're too quick to bag a bloke on a performance which although wasnt his usual standard i couldnt put anyone above him last night. enough now lets smash those dragons

The bounce from the Ennis kick was cruel, only Peachey would have caught that one (and would have done so in an awesomely weird unco way)

always struggle to get numbers on a monday night. feel free to get on the bus with us next time

Love too. Work commitments have stopped me from seeking CSSC membership, looks like I can only go to 6 of the home games this year :/

I was lucky to get to the Doggies game on Monday.

put into perspective, we were missing a fair chunk of first grade....

this is why i dont gloat when we beat the broncos at suncorp during origin rounds
We should gloat - we have to use Stapo

It's funny cause I thought the same thing. Only a once in a lifetime freak like Peachey could have sprung up and plucked that from the air. Prob then run length of field to score as well. Sigh

Won't be long before he makes a one on one try saving tackle (numerous last year) and people will be glad he's still back there for the time being. He made some mistakes last night yes but nearly every player did. At least his were while going flat out and giving 100%. I thought he had a bit more pace last night as well compared to all of last season. Our ****ty structure and out of position flat as a tack backline wern't having much luck getting over the line. Gordon got involved and had a crack to try change that
