9th minute: The Sharks' second try came from the very next set after the kick-off, when Bailey got a neat offload to Hilder, who ran 40 metres before being brought down by Patten. From a quick play-the-ball on the 20m line, Kimmorley put a grubber in for Peachey, but the ball bounced off the goal post and straight into the hands of winger Nathan Merritt, who fell over the line to score on debut for the Sharks.
