Although I am gladthat they are looking after Alex. I think the NRL and several clubs treatment of other injured players who have suffered career ending injuries at a lot of times has been appalling.

I'll be there...another flight from South Oz...
Singing "Up Up Cronulla" at Shark Park with thousands of Sharkies always has that extra feeling than singing it alone in Adelaide :)

Here's the Newcastle team just named:

Knights Team: 1. Darius Boyd, 2. James McManus, 3. Dane Gagai, 4. Joey Leilua, 5. Akuila Uate, 6. Jarrod Mullen, 7. Kurt Gidley, 8. Kade Snowden, 9. Adam Clydsdale, 10. Willie Mason, 11. Beau Scott, 12. Robbie Rochow, 13. Jeremy Smith. Interchange: 14. Tyrone Roberts, 15. Chris Houston, 17. Adam Cuthbertson, 18. Korbin Sims, 19. David Fa'alogo, 20. Joseph Tapine.

Geez that's a strong backline and forward pack. How are they at the bottom with us this year? You would think they'd win a few more games even with the Tinkler distractions.

And here's what they say in the NRL Power rankngs about us:

13. Sharks (13)

We predicted the Sharks would have a strong showing against both the Broncos and against the Roosters, and equally now we feel that it is all downhill from here. They have a four-point wooden spoon game coming up against the Knights this week and chances are they could return to their scoreless ways.

The Newcastle halves haven't been clicking, that's how!

But yeah, very strong backline on paper, however I think our forward pack looks more solid than Newcastle's. They are definitely not a wooden spoon level team, that's for sure.

Yes, agree with all of that. I remember in that debacle in the first round Leilua cleaned us up with three tries. We better not give him any free space this time.

Didn't they score 24 of thier 30 points against our lame right side earlier this year? It was atleast 18.

We missed 27 tackles in that game, but 20 of them were by players not lining up this weekend.

I agree, very good side, they should be going much better.

I'm tipping a loss. Last weeks game was one of the best games of football I've ever seen. I think the come down off that will be too much.

I'm inclined to agree Cranky but I'm hoping that a good crowd and this new good feeling we have will give them the confidence to beat these guys. Trying to keep very positive. This is a great opportunity to get away from the bottom of the ladder and get rid of the spoon.
