We just got home from the game and all I can say is how sad....The only thing I got out of this game (besides a hangover tomorrow) is that we really need to have better music on at our home games.

Yep! Filthy!

Why they had such a tough week in training is beyond me, and it showed today they were tired and sluggish.
I was surprised by those comments from Millington too.

What a **** of a game. What a waste of a season.
So frustrating, the most wide open comp in the last 10 years, and we won't have a shot.

Boys looked good for the first 8 minutes then everything went downhill from there.
Pretty crap perfromance, Pom was great getting back to good form, was the only sharks player that looked like scoring today.
Have to wonder how some players are still in our side.

Gardner seams to have flatened out, great in attack, but ricky got him running like a forward, good old ricky stuffs up another player, a poor performance. gallen carring the team agian, gallen makes up the whole forward pack, gallen needs to be payed more money, what a great player, press hate him. if he played for storm, he would be a ch9 hero

:(

That's the worst part.

This really is that kind of season and I honestly believe our squad this year was capable. Even in hindsight.

It really is a waste of a year.

I actually preferred last season to this season. At least it was a tight-nit team of nobodies putting in every week due to so much adversity.

Exactly...On the back end of last season everyone was looking forward to the off season and for bigger things to come for us this year...And now what do we have to look forward to? This off season and next year? What are we going to have different apart from losing Ricky and Fergo, we don't seem to be bringing anyone to help this team into bigger and better things

Butting claim may put new rules to test

<EDITED>

■Cronulla captain Trent Barrett faces a one-match ban after being reported for tripping Newcastle's Jarrod Mullen in yesterday's 21-10 loss to the Knights at EnergyAustralia Stadium.

Barrett, who starred for NSW last Wednesday night in his first origin game as captain, is almost certain to be charged over the incident, and a loading from a previous offence will result in a suspension.

He was reported by a touch judge and the ensuing penalty enabled Newcastle's Kurt Gidley, the player Barrett replaced as Blues skipper, to land a 62nd-minute goal that extended the Knights' lead to 18-6.

The time is now to **** Blake Ferguson off to the Menai Roosters A-Grade side now.

The **** is a disease on the club and it was great to see ET agreeing with us that he should be punted.

Get the selfish **** out our club now and get some harmony back in the club.

If the ****head wants to join the Sunsilk Brigade from Bondi, then **** him off right now.

Was very disappointed in yesterday's performance and that churlish ****stick Ferguson is to blame for the loss.

**** OFF FERGASCUM!!!!!!!!

UP UP CRONULLA!!!!!

From body language yesterday he really looks excluded. Just whenever he did anything the players didnt really go over to him, he was basically isolated out on the wing.

Definately looks like he is on his' own, that would have to be putting the others off surely!

Time to leave Fergo you suck and take your master with you

i think thats the problem with the team, rather than trying to smack ****s and make the 8 to prove he made the wrong decision, they are isolating him. its not doing anything other than proving fergus right

Whew... we're not happy are we?

I'm sure the team put in the effort, but you can't win a game with that completion rate. I didn't get to see the game but can picture it now:
flat passes results in lots of pressure on the receivers... from that, plenty of dropped ball. Smith, in a team struggling to get a foothold, runs around as though this is the first time he's encountered the great game of rugby league. Gallen desperately tries to get involved in every play to get something started but shows once again that he's one of the most damaging forwards in the game... not a ball player. Barrett, a true competitor, gets frustrated out of his mind and does everything in and out of the rule book to stop an absolute drubbing.

Patience... that's what I think is missing.

wasnt that, it was just genuine, under 7's errors

Fair enough, but I can't believe a team can be that inconsistent week in week out for no reason. When we're in the content Gallen sits out of the ballplaying, the backline opens up and Barrett looks cool and calm. When the completion rates down everyone tries to play catch up footy. We were close enough on the scoreboard to come back until right near the end of the game yesterday, listening on the radio and reading here makes me think it's that unstructured desperation that's knocking in the last nail in the coffin of each game.
