so with this game coming up, and the likelyhood of us missing gallen and possibly snowden missing and kelly coming back... its got me thinking.
how would you like the sharks to run out.
the main part of the discussion is generated around 4 players.
wade, chad, albert and frizell.
what would you want the sharks to do for this game?
on a hypothetical, assume albert is fit and ready to go
would you rather
A - albert 6, chad 7, wade 13?
B - wade 6, chad 7, frizell to debut and albert to play nsw cup
C- albert 6, wade 7, frizell to debut, chad back to toyota cup?
keep the dribble out, discuss as i think this could make for interesting reading.

No offence to Kade, but i kinda hope he doesnt get selected for origin game 3. I think it will largely depend on injuries in the NSW line up, if the forward pack for NSW can stay the same it will. I think it is just scott in doubt for the moment.
With Kelly set to come back i think it should be as simple as Kelly moving to 5/8th and graham moving to lock, with the rest of the team staying the same (hopefully josh will be back to take tautai's spot as well)

We will have Gallen out, possibly Snowden, they will have Inglis and Taylor out, without thoes two names in the souths lineup they have nothing, We have to win this one, I have had a few people say to me no Gallen no sharks and one man team already, I really hope we can put that crap to bed!

I only fear their attacking attitude. We saw what happened last time we played them and without Gallen and possibly Snowden they have a big leg up.
who do you think captains us? surely best lost his chance? i personally think smith and morris while smith is off? and we always make players start playing good again. meaning ssandow will probs rip us up even tho hes **** and make souths look awesome

I think Douglas should. I know he's going but last time Gallen was out he played 80 minutes and made over 50 tackles at prop. That's a massive effort that went completely unnoticed by the media. Him playing through injury has shown he's a loyal Shark until the end of the season and he should go out with the best respect we can afford him and leave on good terms so that he may come back one day.

i like the captain to be an 80 minute player, but would probably go with any of jez/dougie/morris.
the backline again is up for grabs.
wright and stapo are safe as houses under the high ball.
hot dog was performing well, and seriously, we cant leave ryan tongia out of the team much longer.
its nice to have little dilemmas along the way, and seriously, i may get shot down, but i think our season is over, so we should be trying combos for the future.

Yeah, i think we are alot better than what that game showed. It was p***** down with rain, we lost Williams early and gards was a passenger.

I think our season is over when it's over personally. We have 4 wins, let's at least keep the dream alive even if it means that the enthusiasm to make the 8 mean we at least avoided the spoon.
Anyway, I watched the replay and I don't think Stapo or Wright can be easily dropped, and probably same goes with our centres and certainly our fullback. Williams will have to come through NSW Cup and Tongia I don't think gets a look in unless injuries or a bad game from our wingers occurs.

i tend to agree, its good to have alot of options for once. good headaches. i also tend to agree about our season being over. but i still hope the boys keep confidence and belief that they can make the finals. because i would not complain at all if we made it haha. however i feel if we can win the next 2-3 gamesi give us a very good chance. however if we lose the next or next 2 is defs over.

the backline spot most under pressure for me is colin best.
i am happy to give him a week off in an up coming game and move matt to the center to see tongs on the wing.
also, as far as depth goes, i would be playing stewart mills a few more games on the wing in nsw cup, and maybe 1 or to more games at nrl level in round 25 and 26.
but you are right mark, stapo and matt wright are safe wingers, i would like to see us bomb mead and michaels as both of them are suspect.
