people who were at the game - was anybody else disappointed that no players came down to where the supporters were at the end of the field? colin best and someone else (cant remember) walked towards us, got to about the 20-30m line and turned around. yes they did the clapping towards us and everything and they obviously appreciated our support but it would have been nice for a few of them to just come down a bit closer and show some appreciation. it was a great game and a great win, and the first thing they probably want to do is get into the sheds and celebrate, but it would have been a nice touch. especially as the crowd there was easily 60/40 if you ask me and us Queensland fans only get to see our team twice a year if that.

Great game to watch. I was worried at the very start because just as I feared the Titans looked up for it as well, but our team went on with it and produced another confidence boosting performance. Hopefully that confidence stays while Gal is out.

Probably Colin Best's best game this season with a couple of clever passes for tries.

Poms did one or 2 really good tackles but really it must be said that he was pretty crappy and a centre needs to be able to pass the ****ing ball at times. Collis may deserve a final look in before his contract expires.

Probably Towsend's best game as well and he will continue to get better.

Finally, Tagatese was really fired up against his old club and it was great to watch. Hope it wasn't a one-off.

This. I agree with you mate. Looked as though they were going to come down but didn't. Considering how vocal we were, on par or louder than what i remember being against the roosters at home actually, thought they would come down. Thought it was a little rude.

I was there with my 22 month old all decked out in his size 1 sharks jersey and I took him down to the fence in the hope that the boys would have walked down the fenceline and hi-5'ed the fans or something like that as the little man would have got a great kick out of it.. the wife had the iPhone ready to take photos and all for us to put in an album for the little guy, but that wasn't to be... I was a little disappointed that didn't occur but hey, still wrapped for the boys that they got a good win! You could see they were pumped by the performance and the amount of support they received for an away game, but maybe something for them to consider for next time...

I was disappointed too, the 20s came over to us after their game - but I got the impression that they wanted to, and some started to, but got told not to by the ground Nazis.

Yeh I must say i have to agree with u there Goodbyepenrith, if Galls was there he would of lead them over there towards us, I was fairly dissapointed that they didnt come over at the end, id been waiting for yrs for a win in QLD and I finally got one but they didnt come over. Galls is always the one that leads them over to the supporter bay. What I want to know is why cant they do it without their inspirational leader for a change, someone has to step up, i saw Dougy come over, Smith also came over but over the other side

That's what I got told too. Bastards. With so many of us there plus alot of kids it was very poor form to tell the players "no"

the reason they did not come and say hello is because our leader got subbed 10 minutes before.Direction comes from the skipper

I know you were there goodbyepenrithhellosharks, but even though Gal wasn't on the field I saw some players try to come over - Dougie for example...

I remember seeing Titans kids at the fence and they got no love either.

At the end of the game P.Gallen and N.Gardner were busy getting
interviewed by foxtel and some radio station.

Disappointed to hear the boys didn't go over there. You guys were far more vocal then the Titans supporters.

Its worse when you travel down to Toyota stadium to watch a game only to be told there is no press conference after the game.
