Sharks: David Simmons, Darren Albert, Nigel Vagana, Beau Scott, Luke Covell, Adam Dykes, Brett Kimmorley, James Stosic, Kevin Kingston, Luke Douglas, Greg Bird, Lance Thompson, Paul Gallen
Interchange: Hutch Maiava, Reece Williams, Matt Hilder, Brett Kearney

Wow. I don't think Raper has got one thing wrong here. Dykes is finally back, Kearney is on the bench and we get a replacement hooker and third playmaker there. Scott and Vagana in the centres, great. Bird, Thommo, Gallen, Williams are all there. If this closer-to-full-strength team than we've had in a while can gel like we all know they're capable of, we'll be unbeatable

plus i forgot to mention, having Hilder in there is great too - he can be a second rower or a hooker. let's just hope that Dykes and Kimmorley can work on complimenting each other. maybe we're a shot at the minor premiership

if the team keep playing consistantly we could win the PREMIERSHIP. with kimmorleys kicking game ang flat balls for forwards and dykes' kicking game and long passes for backs we have a great combination. not to mention each of the two are great leaders

It is going to be a great match this Saturday, having Dykes back. I think that Kimmorley should do the more of the kicking game and Dykes the running game.
But anyway,
GO THE SHARKIES!!!!!

Interesting you say this: I saw Greg Prichard suggested something similar in the SMH this week.
He wrote on Monday: "The Sharks have real bite this year. The way the competition is now - so even - they're capable of going all the way. "

Now it's far too early to get carried away, but I'd love to see that.;)

I'm worried about Dykes, his game seems to fall apart when Kimmorley is on the field. If he doesn't hog the ball then we should be alright.

I really hope they use Kearney as the replacement hooker, I feel he would be much stronger in that position than Hilder.

i agree, hilder's not too explosive as a hooker, kearney would be. we'd need hilder as a second rower, but maybe not right now while everyone in those spots are going so well
