I noticed a couple of times on Sunday that Gallen called for the ball several times but The play went to the other side of the field. Each time Gal threw his hands up in disgust. One of these times Gardner crossed for a try. It proves he is really wanting too much ball and that has been getting in the way of the play makers' game. It also proves that when the play makers do what they're there to do, not what Gal says to do, we have points in us.

100% correct and I saw those moments too

the thing is we now have OPTIONS in attack. we can shift out to gards who is sweeping around, we can feed ot off to a charging pom, chad or wade or whoever it is feeding can run themselves or shift it to the wingers. and thats only for ONE play. i love it.

gards even said on the post matc interview with gards, he made a point that him and flanno wanted to get gards more involved. this can only be a good thing. even if he isnt getting the ball, he still worries the defence. This is the same thing we should do to for gallen. he needs to run more decoys. he did it in the weekend and always drew in defenders. i wonder why we won :)

We won because Ennis, Hodgkinson and Idris didn't play. We played well but Ennis would have made a huge difference to the way the dogs played. He is pretty much their rudder. Their backup Reynolds must have given away atleast 5 penalties and Ben Roberts was terrible.

Somehow I don't think those players would have made a difference to their defence vis-a-vis our attack. They haven't exactly set the world on fire with them in the team for the last month. I think we deserve a little credit. Respectfully

Yep, i hate to say it but I think your right. we want him doing the tough stuff not organizing our attack!

Haha. I like this respectfully mate. I do see where your coming from with your earlier posts regarding our attack but my point is that we are just not managing to score points out wide and are still obsessed with turning the ball inside. Worked on the weekend but it won't against the top teams. I do agree also that we did run the lines alot better than usual and I put this down to Townsend. Our NYC run that same play to great effect week in week out. We usually look disjointed and end up running Gards out of room. But tell me HrvatskDomovio, would you like to be a winger in our team?

Yeah. At least I would get a $100,000 contract:p

Certainly not in the past but I think if we play like this in the coming weeks our wingers will get a lot more opportunities in the coming weeks. We'll see if this style can hold up against the better teams. Time will tell.

P.S. Just a civil debate, didn't want to be seen to be attacking you :cheers

How funny is it how gallen gets up and basically stands there waiting for a penalty to be blown. The ref wouldn't even call it usually but gal pretends to be pushed back then gives the ref a stare and we get the penalty. If I were the other teams supporter I would have the ****s but as i'm not I love it.

He looked and was dangerous running those tight lines off Toops, that is exactly how we should use Toops, Gal and Gards, and with the option of Kelly still to come.

Watched game again.

Very nice decoy from best in Gardner try, would love to see a bit more of this.

Gardner great line break up the middle at around 25mins

Snowden really putting in a good effort, first time I have felt in a while it looked like he had forgotten about contracts and was playing.

Toupo great pass in the Gallen try

Chad townsend beautiful kicking for goal btw.

Toops to Gallen again in the grahem try is really promising, loving this play.

I'm very impresse with what I have seen from Townsend. I would like to see him allowed more time with the NYC boys but at the same time he improves our NRL side so I want him in there.

He is a HALFBACK he is very calm, just does what he has to do and does it well.
