Made the trek down for some reason. Wasn't too bad, both sets of fans were both just laughing at how bad each team was, and it was actually good spirited.

If we had Gallen or Carney I reckon we could have won that. As plenty have said our kicking game and kick chase along with lack of offloads just destroyed any momentum we had.

Impressed with Nu Brown, that step towards the end was the most incisive I've seen a sharks player look in years. Also was happy with Gardner. Not sure if it showed up on tv but aside from a number of half line breaks, he did a lot of work off the ball in running support lines and decoys, and just trying to pick up the tempo, right up til the end. Again something I don't associate at all with our current team. Not sure about fullback but deserves a spot in the team somewhere. Could do worse for halves than him (last night proved that)

Watched Lichaa a fair bit too. While he looks the part, has a good pass, decent defence and few mistakes, I've yet to see him trouble the defence once in running, drawing defence in, or kicking. Not sure if that's just about finding his feet but certainly doesn't appear to be Isaac Luke yet.

Yeah that first try he set up, weaving across field, any other team would have pummelled him. If he tries that next week he's in for a shock. Still would have liked him in our 7 last night, he was the difference.

Funniest thing was seeing the cheergirl get hit in the back of the head with the ball.

Thats all.

In your head, rent free
something showed uo big time for me last night

everytime we put a bomb up, the deagons had blockers and protection for their wingers

everytime they bombed us, we had no protection or blockers, just Gagan left alone

thought he was solid without being spectacular on debut

I think blockers have become much more prominent this year.

Holmes > gards.
Any day of the ****ing week. He made me cringe he was awful.
Blake ayshford couldnt tackle a walking midget, let alone one running.

Dugan was absolute rubbish, ran the most basic lines and ayshford watched him.

There second last try, I couldn't believe he just stood there and watched the queens player run through and it looked bad.

Gagan played on the wing right? Ayshford was his center?

I love how when we bomb the ball and 1 player jogs to chase it and does not even challenge yet everytime fkn Merge or any other team bomb it their whole bloody lineup sprints after the ball and puts pressure on the catcher.

We are bloody useless.

I feel sorry for Gardner and Nu having to play in a team full of useless pricks.

It's bloody frustrating to wake up and realize we lost to Dragons, lost 30-0, didn't even look like a team out there, to see holdsworth and ayshford playing ... That does it for my 2014, I wasn't expecting a win but did expect to watch a game with at least dedication, commitment, good defence or attack. Feel sorry for Nu / Gagan this squad is ****e !

yep and we dont do it

we let a kid on debut get peppered by bombs all night
We aren't big on awareness. One of the big failings of our team.

Not on this topic specifically, but I think Ennis seems to have great awareness for what is actually going on and can milk a situation. I think that he could help this team a lot. A bit of attention to detail. He seems to take control, whereas we seem to let things happen to us.

We need to do the little things better.
