He played 6 at the tigers. Have to get through 80 in that position. I would try this and give him some if the kicking. Then drop IDG and start Lichaa with Penani as bench to inject some dummy half speed.

For me we have to play Penani at 6. From what Holdsworth has shown he isn't capable of adding anything. Penani wasn't any good in his game either but he is a young bloke so would rather give him a go.

Josh Mccrone shifted from a career in the halves to hooker just fine this year. Robson is going nowhere, and they won't start Penani at 6, so this would give him a role.

Holdsworth is injured and they won't play Penani at 6 is why. Jmo has more halves experience than Lewis and he has a kicking game.

Degois is being played in a position from the bench that is there to value add. He doesn't.

A bench hooker is still playing the role of hooker.

True but they often have a specific role when they come on, and they play less minutes. Penani would have a could totally play 9. He'd offer a lot more than Devoid. Preston Campbell played dummy half from the bench and he ain't no hooker.

Half to hooker isn't crazy if you need an option for hooker.

What is just plain ****ing stupid is a swapping a specialist hooker to the halves for a specialist half to play hooker.

Lets play Gibbs on the wing and Beau Ryan at prop while we are at it.

Penani on the bench I would be fine with (although I don't think he would work as a hooker) but not if we move JMO to the halves for it.

Deano's just so excited by his catchy line about swapping halves and hookers that he just keeps repeating it as a substitute for actually debating a point. I'm used to it.
