Just on a little side note. I wanna make a comment about the signage on the field.

Others may have noticed this in the past, but today was the first time I noticed.

The Home Hardware, Sunday Football, Telstra NRL App logos arent actually painted on the field.

Watching the game live the grass was blank - except for the woman in league logo.

But if you looked at big screen (which is the Fox coverage) then all the logos have been added.

I thought they were going to go after Carney wasn't that the supposed game plan?

He had them running backwards ever time he had the pill.

we actually looked quite good in attack today for what seemed like the first time in forever. they looked quite comfortable with options to burn. still a few loose ends to tie up execution-wise but things are progressing and that's good to see at this stage in this stage of the season.

Yep and I think our sliding defense contained their backline movements quite well. You could see defenders pointing and talking constantly to make sure they were taking their men and not creating gaps as we shuffled sideways. A few soft tackle attempts and the Raiders offloads is what hurt us.

How the **** was Peachy's try disallowed???

Awesome win but it was a bit too close due to some ****ed up ref's decisions.
What a tops win by our boys, bring on the rabbits next week, I can't wait.

Yea that was a try by the peach, terrible decision but he kept smiling which was good. Probably balances out with the J Wright try which could have been disallowed but wasn't but Peach deserved his try for that effort. I think we can do ok against the Rabbits normally (we have come closer than most teams) but having Gordon and possible Lewis out could be the difference between win and lose as good as our depth stepped up today

Just spending my winnings. Do believe I tipped J wright first try scorer. Wow

I remember someone tipped him, congrats. Bet your heart was in mouth when they were reviewing the obstruction call.

You have noted well,
At the Dragons game last night the same thing, one logo on the field but the replay (fox)(big screen) showed about 4 different logos on the field. I asked one of the ground guys and it's all done through a computer programme, pretty sneaky. This is common with fox games.

I only hung around after watching the Sharks NSW Cup game,

This has been happening in sports including League for quite some time now I believe.

Fifita singing Peachey and Feki's praises in an ABC Grandstand interview.

Flanno "90% sure" Gal and Lewis will be back for Souths.

I've been ok with Gal on the sidelines but for Souths I feel we really will need his muscle, along with Lewis ofcourse.

Not having the safe as houses Gorden at the back is a massive blow

Yes, it comes from the states, where theyve used it for many years in baseball. They have no on field signage at all, and so they can market it across the country, and local advertisers from each state/county etc., can still afford to advertise without having to go nationwide where their products/services are not on offer.

Clever idea, and surprised its taken us so long here to get on board, considering we have the same marketing options with city/country stations, not to mention interstate and NZ.

Will take the win and 3 in a row.
Some minor things to fix. Would be great to keep Peachy in the team.
Flanno asked for all Cronulla supports to do whatever they can to get to the Bunnies game.

On a side note, how good is that jack wighton.
Along with Fergurson they will be the best centre pairing in the comp, if not already.

Jennings and SKD would be my picks right now. Followed by Lyon and Matai
