AB I think you may be right we are particularly vulnerable up front, lets hope we are wrong as Gal said talk is easy but at the end of the day the results speak for themselves

Their pack maybe bigger (very marginaly)
but our pack is far superior in speed, skill
and experience. and their halves are very
green. we will smash em.

Looking forward to the game. We will be ok in the forwards. If Carney plays that will be the difference for us.

We should win with or with out him, but we have to watch idris and taylor on the same side .
I wish pom was there for this.

I take it Taylor and Idris will be on their right, Birdy on the left. So Wadeo on our left with him playing direct and with his short passing game with tear Taylor and Idris apart. They are too slow.

I think how Ben Ross plays will have really a big impact on this game. If his legs aren't getting too tired he should be able to make some good metres up the middle for us.

If age is catching up on Ross then the loss of Gibbs will be accentuated even further

Luke Lewis to have a blinder on debut for the sharks I think. MOM performance by him. Think we should maybe go with

8. Fafita
9. De Gois
10. Ross
11. Lewis
12. Heighington
13. Gallen

14. Graham
15. Morris
16. Tupou/Green/Bukuya
17. Green/Tafua

Either try match there size (as best we can with what we got) or go for a more mobile pack and try run rings around them. Heighington I think too start just cause of his better experienced than graham. But don't mind either way, both aggressive players which is what we will need to match the likes of bird, Harrison, taylor, idris. If one of our boys can muscle up in defence on idris he'll go missing. IMO he's soft and doesn't like the physical game. Same can be said with Taylor, he crumbles under defensive pressure. If our forwards can expose these weakness we will win this match I truly believe.

Bailey, Myles, Bird, Miniceillo, Harrison and Douglas is hardly light on size or experience.

Then throw in Dave Taylor and Ryan James.

Their pack is at least the equal of ours. Probably better IMO.

Man i cant even remember the last game i got to at home. Been to a few Newy v Sharks games in newy. I think it might been in 2001 (or 2002) a night game vs the Knights when we smashed em, Peach scored a try on half time from a Matty johns chip and chase gone wrong. Either that game or one where we gave Canberra a flogging and it was absolutely pissing down rain. Either way, Ive been to a few Sharks games in my time, we havent lost 1 yet!

Lucky, I've only caught losses at Shark Park. Did see my first win is Brisbane last year. Was extra sweet seeing it away from home, and against the Broncos too!
