Great output from the Qld contingent tonight. Very happy for Capewell to show he belongs in fg.

I think we all need to eat some crow on Mortimer. Wow! Turned the game for us - twice!

Beale WTF?? I think that first 60 minutes was one of the worst games I've seen from a Sharks player.

It looked like Brooks (?) sliding in actually pushed Capewell's arm over the line from one of the angles.

Brooks helped us with two tries.

Still a bit surprised that they over turned the on field decision.

A real 50/50.

Don't even think capes knew he scored, looked pretty flat getting to his feet, his mates around him weren't jumping around much either.

Capewell's spot, would be what Beales spot should be, on the bench.

I'd have a backline of 1-Holmes 2-Feki 3-Bird 4-Loots 5-Lee

If Homes is injured, Bird to fullback Capes to centre
Is feki is injured you can go Capes to left centre and Loots to wing

Capewell,s ability to play left or right back row and centre makes him an absolute must for the bench at least.

I don't mind your selected back 5 at all.
Bird injured, Capes slots in and if Lee is injured Capes slots in again.

He offers the same diversity that Beale offered last year (btw I think loots can cover wing and I think Bird can if it's needed) and also has the added ability of slotting in the forwards too, which Beale couldn't do... although you could push Bird to the forwards and put Beale in his spot.

If we had blown last night's game, my toaster would have been relocated from the kitchen to the bathroom.

We are the modern day harry Houdini's, think that's 8 half time deficits turned around now. some need to let the 80 min play out... when we do string a great 80 min together it will be exciting as watching your 1st porno.

Did we put any bombs up to Lee? I can't remember any.

I remember seeing one ever and he tapped it back. I'm not sure it's really a tactic because of the chance of giving away a 20m tap. The tap back seems like a surer chance of not giving away the 20m tap, but when you're 8ft tall you should be getting there first.

didnt think it was going to go our way. I was very surprised when they mentioned they were looking at the grounding. Happy with the result but I'm sure I'd be pissed if it were the other way around

To me it looked like there was enough momentum and it was not a double movement. However, they've been calling clear non-double movements as double movements so I was expecting it to go against us.

Happened right in front of me. At the ground I thought no try, replays indicate try. Bunker got it right which surprised me as they don't like overturning on field ruling usually

Loved how perenara who was 15 metres behind play signalled no try , some of his decisions last night were diabolical , this the Loots tackle , the blatant offside etc Perenara was woeful but sadly a reflection on the state of NRL referees at the moment

Cecchin was the GF ref, wasn't he? I remember them saying we hadn't lost a game when he has been in charge
We hadn't lost under him for 2 years to that point.. we have since lost at least 2 games since the grand final whilst he was lead ref.
