did i ever say keep him in the team currently..

as long as someones keeping kinga out ill be happy..and id rather blake green be on the bench then seu seu (fix your defense)..green is a legend and him and degois will reick havoc...

i want the club to sign seu seu to a long term deal..develop him and make hughes teach him how to be a 9

wont happen. simply beause of hughes coming(not literally:p) good that we have depth for the hooking role next year. we wont need to be worrying about that position next year. and the thing is. they will all be fighting for a contract/spot in the team. heres hoping for a hughes and kinga match up:):)

green was awesome..great game..7 kicks for over 340 mtrs, mixed first reciever role with noddy and seymour..really helped our game, panthers didnt see it coming, deserves to keep his spot

filiga, got about 10 mins max..1 tackle, a couple of runs then was hooked

No tackles, 4 runs for 33 metres and 2 tackle breaks, according to the NRL stats. But not sure I trust these, as Brown has also been credited with no tackles, despite his trysaver on Jennings (Tighe?).

Cronulla Sharks - 24 defeated Penrith Panthers - 22

The Sharks have climbed to equal competition leaders after defeating the Panthers at CUA Stadium in Penrith.

In what was a nervous final 3 minutes the Sharks withheld a late comeback by the Panthers. Cronulla ran in 5 tries to the Panthers 4 with Luke Covell scoring a hat trick but Luke had a terrible day with the boot, only kicking 1 from 5. Brett Seymour had a blinder, having a hand in 3 tries and scoring one himself. "Buster" was involved in Covell's first try after a Brett Kimmorley line break set up a run for Ben Pomeroy who turned it back to Kimmorley then popped out to Seymour who put in a nice little grubber for Covell to touch down. The next try was more impressive with Seymour putting Mitch Brown into a hole, who had support on the inside from a following Misi Taulapapa, who threw the final ball for Pomeroy to score next to the posts. 10 minutes later it was Seymour this time crossing the line with a nice movement down the left hand side to go in untouched in the corner.

Kimmorley who was stand in captain for the day had another standout game. BK is truly keeping his guard up and playing every game to his fullest potential before his departure to the Bulldogs next year. His experience is what held the Sharks together today.

Good to see Karl Filiga get a run in the top grade. Played only a handful of minutes but it was good to see the young prospect out there.
