hell ye the eights still within reach, just 10 wins in a row, starting next weekend. we should get rid of anyone not going to be here next year. ie. covs and hughes.

1 stapleton (gk)
2 orcher/wright
3 brown
4 williams
5 ferguson
6 green
7 baz (c)
8 snowden
9 caine
10 douglas
11 millington
12 tupou
13 vea

14 mannah
15 verlinden
16 pomeroy
17 seu seu

Why not. I reckon these guys would play awesome together. Having seen a few NSW Cup matches and the 20's this season these guys could possibly be our answer to winning a few games. I also think they would run rings around some of the more experienced ''imports'' Sticky seems to rely on (and have shown absolutely nothing over the past agonising 9 rounds). Give our young guns a go Sticky, it is now or never. Just think of the enthusiasm it would bring to our team. I don't know about Pomeroy though.

Stapleton was the one positive out of Saturday night. Great under the high ball and in defense, got very involved and was easily the fastest player in the 17. He has to get the nod vs the Eels.

Ill be there family hill! go you sharkies!

1 Nathan Stapleton
2 Blake Ferguson
3 Reece Williams
4 Mathew Wright
5 Luke Covell
6 Trent Barett
7 Brett Seymour
8 Kade Snowden
9 Tony Caine
10 Johnny Mannah
11 Luke Douglas
12 Atelea Vea
13 AnthonyTopou
14 afamasga
15 Millngton
16 Norrie
17 Seu Seu

Wright in for Pomeroy - should have been done weeks ago.

We went backwards by bringing Hughes back in on Saturday.

I know we are thin at back row with Gal in NSW camp there but I'd rather see Douglas stay at prop - maybe millington to start in #11

Seymour and Afamasaga who are still out injured I believe.

seriously forget about poms in second row.

Is it just me or does poms seem arrogant? I dont think he minds himself for a guy who`s the worst centre in the comp.

That's why I'd put him on bench at second row.

Put him on at 60 minutes and give him a big kick up the arse on the way out there and tell him to prove himself.

for a guy who`s the worst centre in the comp.

I think he is one of the better centres in the comp and could be great for us long-term (which is why i hope he doesnt get dropped and want to go elsewhere).

He just has to get the mass amount of errors out of his game (although this is a problem across the whole team right now so cannot be placed solely upon him) and has to learn how to pass because he makes breaks but usually if he cant score on his own from that break he usually butchers a try with a poor pass or kick.

And no way is he a second rower, he just needs to improve as a center. Doesnt have too far to go either.

IMO Simmons should get another crack. It wasn't really fair that he got dropped before Covell & Pomeroy who IMO have been playing **** all season

Reddy happy to be Eels Mr Utility

<EDITED> Full article can be found here

Saturday's NRL clash with struggling Cronulla is a massive one for both sides, with the Eels looking for only their fourth win of the season and the Sharks aiming to stop a 10th successive defeat.

The Eels showed enough against Souths to suggest they can beat Ricky Stuart's confidence-sapped outfit, but Reddy said he still holds fears about the Sharks finally finding their form.

"It's one of those (matches) where we have to be on top of our game," Reddy said.

"I know from previous seasons when teams are going through losing spells their next win is around the corner.

"They are not going to go through a whole season without winning a game and I am hoping it is not going to be this week, because if we give them a sniff of winning, and they get their tails up and they could beat us."

I would like to see Misi back i know what people have been saying that he hasn't been perfroming but maybe it's a confidence booster he might need. Him in for Covell who really has only kicked a couple of goals this season Pomeroy on his last legs IMO
