Wow! Terribly sobering news. Richie was an absolute legend of the game in every sense of the word. The greatest cricket commentator there ever has and will be, plus a damn fine player in his day.

Obviously loved here in the UK as well and I've spent the afternoon listening to some of his classic commentary through the many pieces in the English papers. Just listened again to his little tribute to Phil Hughes and I've got something in my bloody eye.
