Funnily enough, Townsend has only started playing good again these past two games.

Would have been interesting to see what your opinion of him would have been if they televised one of the games from a couple weeks ago.

As I've said several times, the reason he's in the team of the week so often is because there is little competition in NSW Cup.

Townsend, Keary and Siejka are the only good halfbacks in NSW Cup (I've left Hodkinson out as he appears to be in firsts now). Siejka isn't going to win it often as the Vulcans aren't winning so it's a toss up between Keary and Townsend for the team of the week halfback. If Townsend could make it into the team of the week in the 5/8 position I'd be impressed as there is a lot of quality 5/8's running around in reserves.

Also I'm fairy certain Townsend hasn't won MOTM since round 2-3.
