I had create a new thread guys because for some reason the Footy Show one is closed.

I know the Footy Show and Channel 9's coverage of the NRL cops a bit of a hammering on this forum - but the story on Rabs on last nights show made for great viewing.

The bloke is dead set an icon of game.

Rugby League wont be the same the day he retires (and he said the day probably isn't that far away.)

I only dislike one thing about Rabbits, he calls the players by their first name sometimes in a way that suggests he's their best buddy.

Other than that, there is no better caller in Rugby League.

I thought Hyde was a better caller but maybe that's because he was the first caller I really listened to when I was young and getting into the game.

He does tend to get names wrong more often than he used to. Still, he's not as bad as what Moose was towards the end of his career.
