RA'S Rant... I'm hurting!

Hello all, this is my final RA Rant for the year, i can no longer watch the 2008 Season of the NRL as im guttered... Yes we played awful tonight, we played like a park footy team...

But im sick of people on here already slamming every player...Greg Bird, Brett Seymour or Darren Lockyer wouldn't of saved us today, so no point blaming Zappia for this, Bird put himself in this position not Zappia..

At the beginning of the year we weren't even tipped to make the 8... no one expected us to be in final 4! BUT GUESS WHAT! We did, yes we failed at this hurdle, for the 41st year running, but we did better then i could've ever expected!

Kimmorley, i am sad to see you go, you are a little champion, and u try so hard... But it is time to move on, and i hope you can put some pride back into that Bulldogs jersey...As we say farewell to the season of 2008, please don't be angry and start playing blame game, we had a hell of a season and next year is another year...

I love you Sharkies! Always will, UP UP Cronulla! I am heart broken today, but will pick up the the flag in 09!

:cry With ya there... it was a dissapointing display tonight, but its been a great seaon all year, to be equal 38 points with Melbourne and Manly aint nothing to be ashamed of... 12 other teams would love to be where we were.

For me though the season does not end... I will be at the ESL cheering Wigan on with our new recruit in charge Barrett, seeing how he performs and what he will bring for us next year.

I'll be there next year for them, the year after, and after that and the year after that etc... they are a great team no matter what and as with family you stick through with the good and bad times.

Tonight no one extra polayer would have made that difference, Bird, Seymore may have added pioints on the board but Melbourne had teh win i think. We will come good one day. I hope to be back in oz for that Day. :cheers

what can u say after that game....
the stomach is knotted and the throat is dry.
it was the worst game to bring our worst performance if the year, and after the result im torn.
on the one hand, yeah no one expected anything of us this year and we proved them wrong, but by the same token, i cant sit here and say that loosing a gf qualifier is acceptable and i can write it off as a succesful season.
i think thats the difference.....we had a good season, but not a successful one...
the succesful one will come when we are there come grand final time......but as ive said for the most part of my life....bring on next year...

Beaten by a better side this year ,but can not wait till next year.
We lose Noddy ,De-goise, but we gain some quality players .
Cant wait to see Kearney,Toupou,running off Seymour , Barrett, Williams.
Hopefully Karl Filliga can replace Simmons.

Fantastic post RA... Legendary!!

There is not one sharks fan out there that can hold their head any where else but high... we have done well this year and we can all be proud in our team, and our fellow supporters.

Hard to hold back the tears when seeing noddy and nuts saying goodbye.. absolute legends.

They did well the storm, but i tell you what - we have something special about to happen. stay with it everyone, the sharks are coming, the harold holt joke will be shrugged off and i tell you what, there is going to be one hell of a party when we get those premiership rings!!!

Cronulla Sharks always, forever!!!!! Up, Up Cronulla!!! We'll never lose hope!!
