SHARKS FOREVER
ps i converted my misses whos family are mad parra supporters another failed family
Yep, I agree. I am also married to a mad Parra supporter and with 4 kids I was in for a struggle to convert them.
Unfortunately I have lost the eldest son to Newcastle, due to where we live and the eldest daughter, who at 16 years of age,has no interest whatsover in footy but I have got my act together with the youngest 2 and have bought them memberships, jerseys, beanies etc for the past couple of years. After the games we made sure they shook the hands of the players and went home on the bus singing 'up up cronulla'. I was ever so proud when my youngest spotted one of those framed footy pics in the shopping centre and called out excitedly "Look Mum, Paul Gallen".
I knew then that the Sharks had her, just as my Dad introduced me to being a Sharks supporter all those years ago. And so the tradition lives on for another generation....Hopefully my daughters won't have have to wait as long as we all have though or they may not be thanking me in the future for my brainwashing.
