The only thing I would like to see in our front row is an out-and-out hardman, an intimidator, a complete wrecking ball. A guy who can hit like Bird used to but weighs 115kg. I think we have the potential in Douglas but for mine, I think Snowden is the most likely candidate. I would like to see him as big and fast as they can get him and have him out there totally intimidating the opposition forwards. Think, "Ruben Wiki's hit" on that dude in the finals when he ran the ball out screaming from the kick off and totally knocked that sucka out! That is the only thing I think we are missing-we need a hitter.
What do you reckon? Sounds good, eh?

I cant think of one good Warriors prop apart from the captain who mind you is 35 yrs old and got a bad hamstring and from now on will be injury prone.
Snowden is one big lad, im sure with a little time he could be moulded that way
We got this guy called Paul Gallen, you might of heard of him. He does a pretty good job at being an intimidator
Too small, my friend, too small.
YOU SAY THAT TO HIM!!!
What I mean is, he is a bit "vertically challenged", as they say. He is very solidly built, especially through the chest and arms but he is just too short too carry any more weight on him. We need someone 6 foot plus that can carry 115+ Kg's and still be fast and agile. Don't get me wrong about Gallen - love the guy - but this thread is about props and he just ain't one.:cheers
I was just stating his intimidation factor. I have met him his shoulders are bigger than my head I couldn't believe how big he is for his height, was mind blowing.
Certainly a big guy, and strong - have trained with him at the Sutherland PCYC when they used to train there a couple of years ago. Can bench! About a foot shorter than me though, so it's easy for me to weigh in 10 kg's heavier than him. Ultimately, that is why you don't see him running back the kick offs or taking the first hit up - but neither he should, it's not his job. He is a more constructive player in attack and is damaging in defence, being shorter can be an advantage here as it allows you to get in under the ribs of the bigger guys.
im 6`3, 115 kilos, ima try out for the sharkies...
