The only thing I would like to see in our front row is an out-and-out hardman, an intimidator, a complete wrecking ball. A guy who can hit like Bird used to but weighs 115kg. I think we have the potential in Douglas but for mine, I think Snowden is the most likely candidate. I would like to see him as big and fast as they can get him and have him out there totally intimidating the opposition forwards. Think, "Ruben Wiki's hit" on that dude in the finals when he ran the ball out screaming from the kick off and totally knocked that sucka out! That is the only thing I think we are missing-we need a hitter.

What do you reckon? Sounds good, eh?:D

You are 100% spot on, big fella.

As far as technique and ability is concerned our front row is right up there with the best. Unfortunately none of them have much fear factor about them. We need a lose SOB that comes across as a little disturbed. Someone opposition players generally try to avoid.

Dougie is a workhorse and you know what your gonna get every time with him. He does the hard yards regardless who is in front of him. A good honest battler in the pack.

Ross does alright, but he is not feared. Anytime he's ever singled an opponent out, he's come out the loser. His first season with us, the Penrith game where he was gonna shape up to ex-mate and front row partner Joel Clinton he had a blow out and sat on the sidelines for the remainder of the year. No matter how light QLD's forward pack is, Ross doesn't get the call up anymore. Brett White (BRETT WHITE FOR F-CK SAKE!!!) makes him look like a goose. Ross just isn't a hardman and as much as he could beat the piss out of most of us, when it comes to NRL he has no intimidation factor at all.

Snowden headbutts opponents. 'Nuff said. Channel whatever makes him use his own skull as a weapon into something within the rules of the game that has a similar effect and no one will pick on Ross anymore cause his mate Snowden came out of the sheds with an intent to f-ck your sh!t up good and proper without you giving him a reason.

A modern day Martin Lang with less retard and more disturbed individual.

Yeah, Snowden is definitely the most likely candidate, plus he's only young so will get bigger and stronger with time. We need a big dude with attitude now that Birdy is gone!

YOU SAY THAT TO HIM!!!

What I mean is, he is a bit "vertically challenged", as they say. He is very solidly built, especially through the chest and arms but he is just too short too carry any more weight on him. We need someone 6 foot plus that can carry 115+ Kg's and still be fast and agile. Don't get me wrong about Gallen - love the guy - but this thread is about props and he just ain't one.:cheers

I was just stating his intimidation factor. I have met him his shoulders are bigger than my head I couldn't believe how big he is for his height, was mind blowing.

Certainly a big guy, and strong - have trained with him at the Sutherland PCYC when they used to train there a couple of years ago. Can bench! About a foot shorter than me though, so it's easy for me to weigh in 10 kg's heavier than him. Ultimately, that is why you don't see him running back the kick offs or taking the first hit up - but neither he should, it's not his job. He is a more constructive player in attack and is damaging in defence, being shorter can be an advantage here as it allows you to get in under the ribs of the bigger guys.
