Actually I probably read it tbh.
But (aside from what you're referring to) negotiations between Gal's management and the Sharks have been mentioned in the papers since the end of the season.Anyway, bit of a non-story IMO if that is what it is. He's signed for the next two seasons anyway.

carney ... would be totally suprised if it was about him...cant imagine the sharks and the NRL (Gallop) would of worked their way through all the 'issues' so soon....
as far as gallen extending contract or naming a stand after him... i love the guy and great news but there will be alot of dissappointed sharkies fans if that is all it is about..
but it wouldnt make sence to do something like tht before the development proposal is approved... thats me just speculating ...
