The Sharks Premier League side has scored a 20-4 win over the Newtown Jets at Henson Park.
After leading by 14-4 at half time the Sharks have gone on with it in the second stanza to record a win which will keep their semi final aspirations alive.
The Sharks now leapfrog the Jets and go to 18-points on the competition ladder

The Jersey Flegg Sharks have been beaten 28-20 by the Roosters in their round 18 match at the Sydney Football Stadium.
After giving up a 12-point half time lead, the Sharks fought their way back into the contest, but in the end run were unable to bridge the gap, with the result damaging their slim semi final hopes.
The Sharks started well with a sixth minute try to centre Jayson Bukuya, however the rest of the half went the way of the Roosters, with the home team scoring three tries to open up a 16-4 advantage.
The second half began well for the Sharks with tries to Jason Fletcher and another to Bakuya bringing the score back to 16-14 in favour of the Roosters.
Their comeback however was shortlived, with the Roosters scoring again to make the score 22-14 before a Jay Thomas try from a Mitch Mahon cross-kick, converted from the sideline by Mahon, brought the Sharks within two points once again.
