Hey guys,

I had Billy Mahoulias on the podcast this week if you're keen to know Billy's story a little better. I also did a pod yesterday with Dean Treister, good to see him killing it in business in California. But for us Sharks fan he reveals what really happened
between him and Chris Anderson, he has a good crack at him and the truth is very interesting. That pod will be out in a couple of weeks. Any way in the mean time enjoy Billy, Chad was on last week I also have a pod with Blayke Brailey to release.

Cheers

Yeah Deano always played with so much heart could you imagine how many times he would of gone HIA if he played now. Yeah I think we were all disappointed but he clears the air on what he did and what Anderson did, very interesting tale from both sides

Another Chris Anderson club breaking blunder. Does anyone remember the name of the man that Chris thought was better? Pat Gibson? What’s he doing now? Probably not being a better Rugby League than Dean Treister.

Hey mate
Why don't you start a thread "Podcasts - Talking with TK" and add them all under the one thread as you go?
By posting them in the same thread it makes it easier for everyone to go back and check out your older ones.

What about his son in the team , that was a SHOCKA , if I remember correctly.

Also all podcasts from everyone in ONE thread would be AWESOME

From back then

Cronulla Sharks coach Chris Anderson was today issued with his third warning letter following a meeting with club president Barry Pierce.

The national coach departs with the Kangaroos on Tuesday knowing that his his contract with the Sharks is now in doubt.

"We had a brief meeting," Pierce said.

"I handed him a third letter on behalf of the board. We did not discuss the letter. He probably wants to get advice.

"I said to him, and it's in the letter, that if he wants to come back to us at the end of the tour it's his prerogative.

"If he wants to do anything while he's on the tour that's up to him. I don't want to say anything more for legal reasons."

Currently, Anderson has a further season to run on his contract with two year option should the Sharks make the finals in 2004.

Its understood that the meeting follows a falling out after the club decided not to offer Anderson's son Jarrad a contract for next season.

Earlier this year, Anderson issued a stunning "back me or sack me" ultimatum amidst claims that he wasn't getting due support from the Sharks board.

The outburst came after a 40-12 loss to Canberra in a season which saw the Sharks finish in 12th position and well out of finals contention.

Last August, Cronulla appointed former Wigan coach Stuart Raper as assistant coach fueling speculation that Anderson may be replaced as head coach in 2004.

Jarred Anderson

Recruited to Cronulla from NSW First Division side Western Suburbs, Anderson made his NRL debut in round 13 of the 2003 NRL season. The club at the time was coached by his father, former Canterbury player Chris Anderson.[2] He remained in the team for the remainder of the season, initially playing as a centre, before switching to the wing

Cheers Tristan, I have really enjoyed the two I have listened to so far, interesting that Flano was looking to sign Sowie to partner him with Todd in the halves, meaning there would have been no Jeff Robson signing?

Where was this?

Imagine how many tries we'd score with Soward and Carney in the team. It'd be second only to how many we'd concede...

The Billy podcast wasn't bad. Not sure about him being a Trump fan but to each their own.

When is Blayke's out ?

Great cast mate, very insightful. Some pretty harsh words for Anderson, which reflects the way a lot of us on the outside looking in felt.

Wonderful Listen
Took years to recover from Anderson , so much damage in such a short period.
Flat attack after years of explosive , entertaining back line movements.
We lost our fabric until regained in 2016
Would be interesting to hear a podcast with Noddy , no doubt would paint a different picture of Anderson

Good listen.

Haven't listened to many of our Podcasts, mostly just the Sharks players but I do like the research and clear work you put into prepping your questions.

Quite eye opening his comments about Anderson. Not a surprise though.

How would privatisation of the Sharks work? Would the buyer need to buy the Stadium and our other assets?
