PREMIER LEAGUE SHARKS PIPPED AT THE POST

It was almost an inspirational victory from a team fielding eight players still eligible for the under-20 Jersey Flegg competition but in the end the Sharks went down in the final minute by 28-24 to St George in their clash on Monday night.
The Sharks had rebounded from an early 14-0 deficit to work their way back into the game and hold a handy lead, before late tries brought the scores level before the match winner went the Dragons way with the full-time siren sounding in the background.
It was a gutsy effort from the Sharks, with local juniors Zac Mullane and Rob Worsley among those to play their first games at Premier League level.
The Sharks were well-served by the likes of Brett Finn, Luke Sant and Bryson Goodwin, with the later crossing for two tries.
The Premier League Sharks go up against the Warriors feeder club the Auckland Lions this coming Saturday.
