how dare you talk about footy mate! hang your head in shame :)

I can still have a dig - this is a Panthers initiative, not a Sharkies one! ;)

I'd encourage Sharks to look at a similar partnership with a coastal regional community. I'd applaud that.

As long as it was the one that suits me most I'd be up for that haha.

Beauty, half an hour up the road! I'd heard this was on the cards, now it's been confirmed. Just be warned if you're after a grandstand ticket, be REAL quick, it ain't very big.

The Bathurst game is a great idea, just like our game in Taupo was. The problem comes though if you lose and spend the rest of the season blaming it

Yeah, the far South Coast isn't very accommodating for NRL matches South of Wollongong. Bega pulled a decent crown (5,000) a few years ago with the Storm V Raiders trial match, but couldn't seem them being able to host an NRL season match. I can't think of anywhere else around which would have the facilities though...

In your head, rent free
its the irish pub in bathurst we stayed at. huge hostel room up stairs. heaps of bunks and then a spiral stair case with more bunks.

heaps cheap as well, was like $32 per person but you needed 12 minimum

Yeah it just couldn't happen sadly. Bega is the best in the area for a large crowd, it would be able to do an extra 2 or 3 thousand on that 5k but that's about it.

Eddrick Lee was worst on ground by a country mile in that trial.

It always confuses me when a club takes a game away when they're playing another Sydney club. Why don't they move their NQL, GC or Melb game?

Isn't Bathurst the next suburb over?

It's about 2 hours mate! Not far by country standards but you've got all of the Blue Mountains and Lithgow to get past first...

And it's just a short stumble to there from the leagues club, which is where i would assume the post match functions would be.
