Paul Mellor's famous try against the Knights during the 64-14 win in 2002, where he fended off Anthony Quinn no less than three times, was the highlight of his best year at Cronulla.

He was even talked about as a Kangaroo prospect, as shown in this article, from the first week of the finals in 2002.

Looking forward to see him back in the black, white and blue in 2005!

Played against him last night in touch footy. Still a solid player, wouldn't want to be tackling him. At least he's not one of those fired up aggro old footy players!
