Paul Kent talks about the fact that the Viewing audience is on decline, however fails to mention that membership numbers for every club are higher than theyve ever been, meaning more people are attending games. Continuing on he then says this: "What have St George Illawarra fans got to look forward to next year? Or Wests Tigers fans?
Parramatta have nine new players coming to the club, but they will have to do it from rock bottom.
Who cares?

That's just the nature of being in a competition. In every competition someone does well and someone does poorly.

Sometimes, you suck. You just have to take the bad with the good, until things start to turn.

These clubs can't be that worthy of our adoration if they are being shown up by supposedly hopeless clubs like Cronulla anyway.

exactly, and bar Manly and Melbourne, look at the difference in the comp from a few years back.

Tigers, Parra, Raiders, Broncos, Cowboys were all players talked about as threats or darkhorses. Now there is really only 1 of those teams thats gunna make the 8 this year, and the others are looking hopeless for the next couple of seasons also.

Teams like Souths, Roosters, Sharks, and Dogs had some bad seasons now are back up there again. (Salary cap boys). There is a pretty even competition out there, some teams have a bit more talent in the rosters, some have a bit more coaching. Either way, the comp is anyones if they can get it all right
