Yeah mate, I'd much prefer all sports people to be bland, boring robots.

Probably enjoy a beer and convo with some of those robots , at least some banter might create a laugh .
Gal doesn't have any sense of humour and is just a continually intense egotistical human being .
No fun at all , but grant you a sharp shooter and footy player .

I don't always like what he says but I'll take that any day over the usual cliched bull**** that professional sportsmen sprout out these days.

Fair enough , but I sort of cringe when he talks most of the time , like I do with that ex-bandana wearing wanker Fitzsimons on that Sunday Sports show

I don't like the cliche's either, but Gal is just not likeable in my opinion. Plenty of other footballers with a personality that don't carry on like a porkchop.

I met Gal a few times when he was coming through at the beginning of his career. At the time he was one of the most humble and genuine guys in the group... I feel like he has created his brand as the villain now, combine that with his ego and his is just hard to watch.

I don’t mind him, never met him personally so I’m only going on from what I’ve seen or heard him, I don’t agree with everything he does or says but I do like how he calls a spade a spade.

DCE, whilst he has people who either love him or hate him, from what I see, he seems to very conscious of saying all the right things.

Much like our national or high profile swimmers, my god, I can only think how much Swimming Australia must pump into them with media training, impeccably well spoken but so many politically correct answers to questions posed to them.

Was Gal ever knocked out during his footy career?

I can’t remember it happening, but I myself have been hit in the head too many times...

Gal has found a niche in the media of saying some outrageous and controversial things, don't think that he'll be stopping anything soon

At the same time I've seen a lot of posts from people saying they've always hated him as a player but don't mind him in the media
Exceptions being anything to do with drugs and the the worst qld team every comments, those were pretty universally unwelcome haha
