This is the first negative thing I've had to say towards Unity since their election win. Woods has done wonders for this club in the membership department as well as in other areas of the club. To remove him baffles me, this new guy will have big shoes to fill.

Would not the CEO Bruno Cullen or Steve Noyce be responsible for the hiring and firing of Pat Woods role? I understand the board may have influence over this but surely the CEO would be across it and he has no allegiances.

I don't know why he was sacked so I can't comment on that. The question is was due process followed when appointing Scott Longmuir? Who else was interviewed for the position?
