Does anyone have any memories of this guy ? Im playing with him in our local first grade side - Inverell Hawks which has been an unreal experience. I cant remember much of him playing.

What are your memories of him ?

Very gifted but lacked the motivation to realise his full potential. From what i remember he loved his food more than his footy

Fat and skilful comes to mind. Bit of a wasted talent. Being with Souths during their horror years no doubt did his career no favours.

He was an incredibly talented junior player who had all the boxes checked - made an impressive debut to the NRL as a 16 year old kid still at school.

As he got older he had some attitude and fitness problems. Amazing talent when he was young though.

One memory of him, a goal kick for souths, just to the side of the post, 10 metres out, has an almighty swipe and it dribbles off the tee, very reminiscent of a kick i would of made in the under 7's :fergo:

yeah weight dragged him down a bit. taented though. remembr one year when souths were struggling - might have been when coach tugger colman got sacked - souths kpt trying midfield grubbers with a view of regathering them but cragie was never quite quick enough to get there first.

He could have been anything when he started but he very quickly drifted away

exactly how i remember him. With ball in hand he was good just way to slow and sluggish. terrible conditioning.
