After analysing last night's game then there's no excuses from me.
It appears that Souths were guilty of undermining the Sharks & their potential to be a threat in the NRL in 2015.
I'm not surprised however i think that Souths are not playing their best footy & can play a lot better than what last night indicated.
Madge has a lot to work on & i think that we will see some changes to the run on side as we had a close game against the Bulldogs & lost the last two games to teams who were better than us on the day / night.
I would like to see some changes especially in the backs just to give us some direction & get back to our winning way's.
As i have said all along, the Sharks should be top 8 specials if they have a good run with injuries.

Obviously the conditions played a large part last night but it is also obvious that you guys are missing reynolds big time. I always enjoy reading your posts as you seem to be insightful and a "friend "of us sharkies. For whatever reason we seem to go reasonably well against Souths!
Hope you are on the mend mate!

Half way through the second half I thought you guys were going to win for sure. Your big forwards were really rolling through us easily but then the intensity dropped. Maybe the effort of running into the wind in the first half just took way too much energy out of the big men.

It's nice to get reasonable feedback from a rival fan Coogeeboy.

Had it been a dry track, Souths would have won it.

Had Adam Reynolds played, Souths would have won it. He would have relished those wet conditions and his kicking game is second to none.

Still, the Sharks played with heart and I thought there was no way we would restrict the Bunnies to 6 points in the second half with that gale force wind and stinging rain behind them.

I really enjoyed watching that game and was on the edge of my seat for most of the match. I didn't think you guys played that badly under the conditions. The completions for both sides was pretty good.

Thanks for the post coogeeboy, you guys will be right when Reynolds is back, I always used to think GI was your most valubale asset, I was wrong.

I rate both Keary & Reynolds the best in their respective positions however all good teams have solutions to any injuries to come around & i am critical of Souths for letting some players go who would have been more than useful now we have a few injuries.
In saying that the Sharks have had their fair share of injuries & other dramas so it should be stated that good teams make their own luck & Souths need to go back to the basics & start to play the kind of footy they are capable of.

I don't think Souths were complacent or didn't take us seriously (unlike the Roosters), they wanted to win that game bad and almost did

They played well in terrible conditions it's just that the Sharks had a bit of an edge and played better. Few crucial errors from Souths at bad times cost them

Good to see a Souths fan in coogeeboy with some humility and not blaming it on external factors or the refs ect.

Remember the Sharks had out some of our best forwards in Gallen & the Fifita brothers. They are almost as important to a Sharks team as a quality half in Reynolds is to Souths

Gards, it's true to say that the game was there for either team to win however when you make the amount of mistakes that Souths did, when you don't make the most of your chances like Souths did or when you fail to play to your potential like Souths did then you can't expect to win the game.
I seriously rate the Sharks nearly as much as i rate Souths when we are determined to play to the best of our capabilities & it's now taking shape for you blokes as your main buy's are starting to deliver when & where it counts.
I haven't lost faith in my Bunnies just yet but we need to look at our game & could possibly learn something from last night's loss.
