I just recieved the latest leagues club/football club magazine in the mail.
From 8th Jan-14th Feb latest and greatest movies will be shown on the playing surface at Toyota Stadium on Friday and Saturday nights.

Its good to see the club trying new ideas.:good:

Does anyone think an outdoor cinema might work? This is something that could run anywhere from one night to a couple of weeks (which is why I like the idea ).

Summer months, Hollywood blockbusters, school hols, festive season, surf movies, classics, triple headers...****, why stop there? Back to back Star Wars collection, Lord of the Rings, simulcast a massive OS concert........

Obviously I like this idea.

You people in the Shire need to get fully behind this initiative and make it a success.

It's prolly safe for me to say that 'A Day In The Park' will not be happening this year because of a fear based on last years attendance figures.

Those of you who can, please make a concerted effort to get there... The movies that are going to be played are probably not completely locked in yet... You still have a say!

I reckon it's an awesome idea BUZ! When we got the latest issue of Shark Attack, I showed this to my missus and she was stoked! So it must be a good idea because she has no interest in football or the Sharks whatsoever:(

But she is really excited about this idea. The Council held one of these up at Cooper St Park in Engadine a few years ago, showing Kung Fu Panda. It was packed!

I think it will be a great success.:good:

I think this is an excellent idea to make use of the stadium, even if only for a few weeks. Hopefully the memberships/merchandise teams will also be out in force on the nights.

Could set it up like a beer garden but I reckon it's only a good idea for summer sports, and screw summer sports.

what about having away games shown on a big screen in the auditorium with the bar open (is that what it's called, the place they do after game presentations).

Could make it members only or something.
