I think they will let Seu Seu go.. but in my opinion they should keep him for depth if we can afford him under the salary cap he is a quality player and is improving every week.

it is a good point.... Morris looks a little left out now - esepcially as he was talking of getting a permenant spot at hooker... Aiton will have alot to say about that and i am sure should start at hooker..... but also same issue for Cuthbertson - he wants to be a regular starter but with Douglas and snowden playing they way they are - they will be / should be our starting front row next year .......Cuthbertson on the bench..

i fully understand the depth argument and like especially with so much youth in the squad..it but i am sure most of us were hoping for and wanting to see a relatively big name back signed....

i dont see alot of points in any of the recruits we have acquired....... an doubt with Porter and Barret here next year that the new boy Kelly will get alot of time on the field...unless for injuries.....

ricky likes to use 2 hookers in first grade so i would like atleast 3 so we have atleast 1 to cover injuries, now that we signed both aiton and morris, i would like to see us re sign seu seu and caine with my first preference being seu seu

Aiton and Morris in a hooker rotation is fine.

Cuthbertson most likely signed with us because he wants to play in the back row - Hasler has used him at prop but that's not where he wants to play. Gallen, Williams, Tupou, Cuthbertson is a good 4-man rotation in the back row with Millington for depth and Cuthbertson to cover prop if we're desperate. We still need a prop.

Great White suggested in the Cutherbertson thread that he was signed for prop unless i am mistaken. Also dont think he signed with us because he wants to play backrow, he said he mainly signed with us because he wants to play as a starter as he thinks that is his best hope for rep footy.

I reckon he is a better second rower than a prop. I'll bet the trainers will strip the weight off him and get him leaner, rather than the barrel shape all the Manly forwards seem to have.

Sully

Good old sully, how good was he for us b4 he went to the UK. he is langusing in reserves behind Ennis at the dogs and considering Ennis plays 80 mins he is a forgotton man at Belmore, Should we try and snap him up??

Watched the warriors game today and he was unreal for the dogs, still zippy at dummy half.

Michael Sullivan is keen to shed his tag as the forgotten man of the NRL when he starts only his second game this season for the Bulldogs against the Warriors on Sunday.

The form of first-choice hooker Michael Ennis and a succession of niggling injuries have limited Sullivan's first grade appearances, but with Ennis preparing for his Origin debut Sullivan gets his chance to shine in Auckland.

The 29-year-old former Cronulla rake returned to the NRL after a two-year spell in the English Super League with Warrington at the start of last season and has been forced to spend most of 2009 playing in the NSW Cup.

But Sullivan has no regrets about joining the Bulldogs and said the team's outstanding form this season has made it a great club to be at.

"I have had a couple of dramas with a hamstring which saw me miss a couple of games which has been frustrating, but on the other hand it is good to have the club going well," Sullivan said.

"Playing reserve grade footy is not ideal, but I know when I get the chance, that it is good to be able to come into a side that is going well rather than a struggling which was the case last season."

Sullivan is one five enforced changes for the Bulldogs who make the tough trip to Auckland without Ennis, halfback Brett Kimmorley and centre Josh Morris due to State of Origin commitments as well as winger Bryson Goodwin and prop Greg Eastwood.

Goodwin and Eastwood are serving two-game bans after taking early guilty pleas to dangerous throw charges stemming from Monday's 19-12 loss to Manly.

Sullivan admitted a trip to face the Warriors at Mount Smart Stadium is not the ideal game for an under-strength side, but said it was a chance for fringe players to play their part.

"It's a really good chance for the club to show what we are all about, but we know we have our work cut out over there," Sullivan said.

"But the good thing is that we are going over there full of confidence and in the NSW Cup we are top of the ladder so the players coming in like myself are feeling on top of our games and ready to go."

Bulldogs coach Kevin Moore will make a decision on who will replace Eastwood and Goodwin on Friday before the players fly to New Zealand on Saturday.

Gee you miss the point mate. We have just signed two hookers and you suggest we sign another one. WTF.

Hey Sully would have been better than Morris IMO, he is quicker and can play 7 and has a better kicking game than Morris
