i was jst wondering who do you think has been our best islander players

i guess i could only think of somoene like twera nikau

can you think of many more??

maybe we need a couple of big islanders in our pack and backline

find a noa nandruku somewhere on fijian beach and score us a serious amount of tries

are you serious? half our team are kiwi's, not to mention the flegg boys.
there is a massive maori influence in our teams. we scout out the best of them and bring them out coz we don't have the local juniors numbers or talent.
which is fine by me, as long as they are good players i don't care where we get them from.
what we should've done is merged with the steelers.
The southern sharks or something similar would be killing it by now!
the junior talent pool down there is massive. it is one of, if no the biggest breeding ground for nrl stars in the world!
theres only about two or three stgeorge district players in the saints team, the rest are steelers, throw in some others like big stevey southern and we would've been laughing right now.
even with raper at the helm we would've won the grand final.

P.S. phil leualui is still playin for us.
he's just been injured for ages. he should be available again soon though.
