O'Neill to play alongside Williams

On paper, it looms as a volatile meeting.
Former Wests Tigers captain Mark O'Neill has been named alongside Danny Williams for English Super League club Leeds' Boxing Day clash against Wakefield at Headingley.
However, O'Neill will be lining up with promising English teenage utility Williams - not the former Melbourne forward who had his NRL career ended by an 18-game ban for punching the ex-Tigers leader last year.
O'Neill will have to wait until the 2006 Super League season to meet the former Storm bench regular who has since been linked with London Broncos which has been re-named Harlequins.
O'Neill has been named in a strong Rhinos side that also includes former Manly flyer Scott Donald who is starting a three year deal with Leeds.
Donald will make his Leeds debut at the clash dubbed the Festive Challenge.
"I can feel myself settling in and really being happy here in the long term," Donald told the Leeds website.
"There's no worries or regrets. I have definitely made the right decision coming here from what I have seen in terms of training and all the people here."
The Rhinos side also boasts Great Britain internationals Danny McGuire, Danny Ward, Matt Diskin and Ryan Bailey.
O'Neill has not had much time to savour the Tigers' historic maiden NRL premiership thanks to Leeds' gruelling pre-season training regime.
"We have been back in pre-season for nearly a month now and the players are looking forward to getting out there and playing a game," said assistant coach Brian McDermott, standing in for head mentor Tony Smith who is holidaying in his native Australia.
"Our new signings want to give a good account of themselves in their first game for Leeds."
Several other Australian stars will make their debut for new English clubs on Boxing Day.
Former Cronulla and NSW fullback David Peachey will play for non-Super League side Widnes for the first time against a Warrington outfit featuring ex-Sharks teammate Michael Sullivan who has been named as Wolves hooker.
And former Canberra assistant and new Castleford coach Terry Matterson has named his first Tigers side for its Boxing Day showdown with non-Super League side Featherstone Rovers.
However, Castleford will be without new recruits, Queensland Origin prop Danny Nutley and former Dragons utility Willie Manu who are still in Australia.
