Ok, on The Footy Show tonight, they were talking about the '10 year service' thingo... just got me thinking

who... are our ONE club players, and the longest serving?

David Simmons
Adam Dykes
Paul Gallen
Kevin Kingston
Greg Bird
Reece Williams

is that it for long serving? like 2 or more years?

Does anyone else think Gallen and Bird are Sharkies for life? One club men?

not in the shire anymore :(
Dykes had a stint at Parramatta, and is going to Hull ... so I'm not sure if I'd classify him as a one club man (compare with Steve Menzies for arguments sake, who is willing to take a massive pay cut to play out his final year at Manly, rather than head O.S. to build a hefty retirement fund).

Think they are the only ones atm? Simmons, Williams, Ciraldo and stuff.. but i think The Bash Brothers are going to be around the club for a long time!

****, forgot about Dykes with Parra!

Gallen is a Parra junior but I'm almost certain he hasn't played FG for anyone but us.

What about Douglas?

Douglas is a Saints junior but debuted for Cronulla. He's only like 20ish and has talent, so a prime candidate to leave the Sharks. Be careful who you're putting down as 1 club men for us.

i am being careful...thats why im leaving it up for discussion!

so far Gallen, Simmons and Bird are looking the most attractive to stay around for awhile, with Simmons i reckon in about 2 or 3 years jetting off to the UK! Bird and Gallo will be around for ages

Correct me if I'm wrong but:

Gallen signed till 2010
Bird signed till 2009

Both have said they want to be one club players, however Gallen has mentioned that he wants to finish his carrer in the UK.
